When Burton put one of his bombs up. Rts was the closest to the ball. Yet, He looked at Pompey so Pompey had to sprint for it but was to far away. Effort plays or lackof in these situations pissed me off. Especially our backs.

When things got tough for us our forwards played tough. Covering back injuries and doing a more than commendable job. TMM was lost when shit hit the fan, CHT went missing.....SJ for all his so called faults has always stepped up and smashed the clutch plays. When we needed him , he was there.

It's like we are cursed. When our wings started to come good. Both the fuckers got taken off lol.
When we had the chance to play Taine. Webby said nah, CNK is all good. Then he got taken off...🤨

Proud of our effort. That was gutsy! And how about Leka!!!!?? Ooouuwee!!

I can remember abiut 3 games this season where I thought we’ve been shit and deserved to lose. Every other game I though we were the more pysicall and more
Dominant team and still lost. Stats back this up. We are too 4 in every catagory. Our half’s shuffling has been so fucking determinatal.

Season over I think but a lot to take away and hopefully Webby pulls some strings next season. We need more X factor and speed. . To think Leka may have only got 5 mins if it wasn’t for the injuries. For the rest of the season I wanna see all our young guns bleed in

One of the best loses ever!

Don’t like losing and Blocker is an idiot! Praising the Bulldogs but I loved how the other commentators were on about missing the back 3 and the courage of all the players out of position.

Half’s let us down but they also helped keep us in the game.

Leka Halasima that’s all. But also could have scored one of the best debut tries. His effort was like of veteran status!

Like the years when Johnson was at the Sharks and we'd constantly lose close ones.

This had the feeling for quite a while that it would end in heartbreak.

Similar to games in the past where we'd lose to Manly as they had DCE who can nail the key field goal. They had Burton. He was unlikely to miss too many.

One reason having Johnson back the last few years was a relief as he'd nail those moments.

Good post. I enjoyed the game as well as I am sure many of us did despite the loss.

Once it went to golden point they were always going to win as you need an experienced field goal specialist and we had CHT.

It was a great game very entertaining. Halasima looks very promising indeed. Roger played well too. All our players played well. Even Ford I thought was excellent.

I'm lost as to why the bunker has the last call on most decisions. It's like a separation of responsibility so the ref can't be blamed. Man in the middle should be shown replays than allowed to make a call.

As much as it kills me to say it, that may be season ending. Even if we go onto win every single remaining game, we would only just sneak into the 8 (based on last years points distribution on the table). Something I just can’t see happening with the way games are being decided of the back of disastrous refereeing mistakes. Absolute heartbreak man…

You could tell this was gonna be a golden point from the first 5 mins..I should be a NRL bookie..how can I get into that field of work?
