No mention about us on the Matty Johns Sunday night show …All about how good the Dogs were. .Kinda sucks considering what other reporters have been saying ..Thought that the Warriors were one of his favourite teams .Guess it just goes to say how many porkies he says .😠

Think someone said they never mentioned it either last time we played them and TMM was wronged by the bunker and only crowed about the bulldogs

He's probably scared of Gould too. Is Gus some kind of underworld figure in Sydney? Why is everyone terrified of him like he's a mafia Don

My thoughts too. I was really disappointed. Gag order most likely.

It’s been discussed above as to why Murray faces a longer suspension
Thanks, that's very big of UCE. Still, my dissatisfaction is that is loading has not achieved is intention. Players still commit acts of foul play regardless but in the case of what happened to RTS he will be forced off the field longer than the assailant.
So grading by previous history is not as fair as grading by outcome..

The show in general stays away from officiating and is a ‘celebratory’ format. They didn’t say anything about us because we were terrible.
When we play well they are complimentary.

Just playing to the audience unfortunately

💯

No one in their right mind goes out there to make a deliberate high shot.

The penalty should be consistent regardless whether or not you have history. It’s not a deterrent when it’s not deliberate. Crichton getting one week while Martin potentially three is ridiculous

Yep. Gotta tune into NRL 360 to get your fix of old bastards whinging (or pop into this forum when Aman is around)

We get a stand down of the bunker individual when there’s a no call on TMM hit high and late, that’s reffing a game the following week. We supposedly see a stand down again of a bunker individual, so how does this help us in the game again? The first one directly costs us a game, the second we’ll never know what a player like Chrichton does off the field for 10 minutes in the second. Both situations have the time for the bunker to see the high contact but choose to ignore it? Everyone seems to be at pains to say the Warriors aren’t alone in these baffling calls, but the ones like high contact seem to be often seeing the correct outcomes apart for instances involving us?

It's weird as well never see any games going back multiple play the balls for a penalty, usually just placed on report but Warriors commit an infringement and we go back 4 play the balls to give the opposition a penalty... it's an absolute joke.

Grading by outcome in the Judiciary is fine as the defending lawyer could then argue "My client's charge is too heavy as the opposition player was falling as my client struck him so there's some mitigation there."
The other argument - and this happened to Richie Barnett in the early 90s IIRC - could be that the player injured wasn't wearing the appropriate gear, so yes, his jaw breaking in that tackle was always more likely to happen that it should have been. Not my client's fault the other player was a doofus, your honour!
But a referee judging a Report/Sin Bin/Send Off on outcome will be swayed by Oscar-winning-worthy performances of screaming/rolling around agony by the injured player. Which any player would do if it was a GF/Final and if that opposition player got sent off, that would really lighten the load...

It’s like the kid who cried wolf too many times

I think he’s related to DWZ

The number of times he holds his jaw, rubs it to try and milk a penalty … 🤦🏻‍♂️
