Annersley's PC just finished, shock of shock the Warriors got dudded in the Crichton high tackle. It should have a sin bin.
Did we get our apology? Inquiring minds want to know.

Give me my fucking Aplology Annersley !!!!
The NRL are sorry if the New Zealand Warriors are upset about the Bunker Fuckup on Friday Night.
But, see, the gentleman in the bunker, while he was in Sydney, had cold wind piped into the room so he could pretend like he was in Auckland and, look you sheep shaggers, the poor sod had to turn up and perform two hours earlier than he was used to so there were some tiredness/lack of enthusiasm issues, there.
So, frankly, this poor cobber will be in The Bunker for Every NRL Final Match, in recompense for the unreasonable pressure the New Zealand Warriors put upon him.

There you go! :)

Grading by outcome in the Judiciary is fine as the defending lawyer could then argue "My client's charge is too heavy as the opposition player was falling as my client struck him so there's some mitigation there."
The other argument - and this happened to Richie Barnett in the early 90s IIRC - could be that the player injured wasn't wearing the appropriate gear, so yes, his jaw breaking in that tackle was always more likely to happen that it should have been. Not my client's fault the other player was a doofus, your honour!
But a referee judging a Report/Sin Bin/Send Off on outcome will be swayed by Oscar-winning-worthy performances of screaming/rolling around agony by the injured player. Which any player would do if it was a GF/Final and if that opposition player got sent off, that would really lighten the load...
It's not an easy solution to find, there has been chatter of a 5 minute bin for some accidental offences to lessen the impact of two teams being competitive. Then if an HIA rubs a player out for the remainder of the game the 18th man should be activated and the judiciary can follow up to take the appropriate course of action. But, I agree with your sentiment about a lawyer's influence. Since when have lawyers played NRL, they shouldn't be involved. Period.

Well, let's hope the powers that be will figure out something better. For the sake of the game we love..

We should be tracking all these terrible calls against us

I’ve lost count
The referees most certainly have not lost count and they would probably walk off every game knowing both coaches think they were shithouse and biased. Which is what all NRL referees set out to do.
Not do their job to the best of their ability, which will end up in a bad call here and there that in hindsight they won't be proud of and neither will the Referee Boss/Whatever he's called.
But to not look biased, so to fuck up as equally as they can.

Haven't there been players that have said in interviews after they moved to the Warriors they saw/felt the difference in officiating compared to their prior Aussie based teams?

Can't remember who exactly but I'm sure I've read or heard that over the years.

Those 6 again calls on the first tackle to even up the count - so ridiculously obvious and pointless…

There’s definitely some racketeering shit going on..

That was a pathetically weak response from Annesley, went down the ‘people make mistakes’ route- we can accept that but the optics around the player not punished and the team that copped it are glaringly obvious. A basic sweep under the rug job won’t do here, and then the smug passing off the concerns of people as some just complaining for the sake of it isn’t acceptable
