I get you on that but if it was Freddy Lussick you know he doesn't want another big ban. Everyone in that pack was gassed and rightly so and the disruption because of our injuries to the back three moved our fastest freshest sub of Leka to centre. Its not going to help but yeah. Keep posting bro

Kick pressure for me is a standard you set early to make the kicker double guess himself later.

In the first 10 mins we applied zero pressure where as they put TMM on his ass twice (both illegal) and CNK was smothered for his first 2 kicks as well.

TMM was never the same for the rest of the game even though he had no one around him after that.

Burton looked so comfortable all night because we let him get into his groove.

You are right about being gassed but I’m only reviewing the first 10 mins of the game.

Too bad for him. Back to Cup if he’s gun shy.

So being tired is an excuse to slack off?
Yep I reckon in regard to just Fred, I'm "guessing and opinioning" he probably was gun shy. But not when it came to taking prop carries and jumping on that play the ball. Regarding every other chaser, can't disagree.

On the issue of being gun shy Ive noticed Marata having been so penalised has tried to adjust his trigger happiness and even raised his hands in surrender when a player he's tackled has expressed the slightest sign of discomfort.

Being tired is not an excuse but might have been the reason. Being the reason doesn't necessarily mean it excuses it but.

Yep good points.

Burton needed to sat down and pressured but he can also stand fifteen metres behind the play the ball and add that to the twelve metres the ref keeps us back and I'm making this all up without reviewing the game for the fifth painful watch. And he'd still get a good kick away

Yea I felt our kickers didn’t adjust.

Also if you watch the game Salmon has one role and one role only. Pressure the fuck out of the half’s and don’t take your eyes off them. Surely message goes down to TMM to run and Salmon with AFB on his shoulder quick dummy out wide, engage line and bang pop Pass to AFB or RTS or CNK in the hole.

We need lessons in milking and handling refs. The storm have had this down to an art for over a decade (plus are the most privileged club when it comes to rulings but lets ignore that). Watching the storm should be mandatory for players. No fucking way Hughes doesn't get a penalty to ice the game with what Salmon did. He would have gotten a penalty even if Salmon tried not to hit him.

I’m gonna go out on a limb and say Cam George definitely fucked up. No way that the NRL would do this.

Becomes a legal issue.
That or nrl is playing silly buggers and Gee was stood down from the bunker, where he made the call not to penalise on a technicality?
