Valient effort given the injuries we had. Absolutely robbed by that no call on the late hit on TMM. Any other team gets the penalty there, so much for player welfare.

I don't think this halves pairing is it, they lack a kicking game and some of the last tackle players were terrible. We need an in form SJ for us to make finals.

Halasima needs more game time, the young players we've been getting in have been doing their jobs. Barnett and Walker I thought in particular were fantastic. RTS looked good this game, i'd like to see him have a run at fb.
TMM should have stayed down ...REF didn't even look at it ??

Tough loss but to be honest I expected the dogs to put it away at any moment with about 30mins to go- the fact they didn’t showed heart considering our adversity with the bench. However a loss is a loss and that makes things pretty tough going forward. In hindsight we really should have taken the FG shot much earlier, we did not look like scoring

Even some gutsy efforts from the guys that went off injured.

CNK battled on for quite a while. Montoya was a passenger out on the wing for a while. He probably was worried about going off after DWZ went off.

It would be tough going off injured and seeing your team mates battling away with limited subs having to cover positions you don't usually have on the bench.

I was surprised DWZ was a category 1. He went down but it wasn't out cold. He looked like he took a blow but had his eyes open. I am fine he went off to be checked, just think the severity was a bit harsh. The way he was walking around by the bench so quickly also indicates a lower severity. Again it would have been tough seeing your team mates battle on. Lucky we have the bye as he'd be out next week.

Yeah I'm fine with the call for DWZ to go for HIA. But how did the bulldogs player stay playing after he copped Jazzs hip?
