Yet another example of a draw being the right result rather than this golden point unofficiated lolly scramble
Actually i should clarify....i thought we didnt deserve to lose after all that adversity and effort.

I dont mind Golden Point......just not when we're on the losing end of it :D

Ref fucked us, yes we should have won anyway and would have with SJ. But honestly, it gets tiring us getting fucked over week after week. They go back 3 plays in the first half for a shoulder charge, AFTER kikau drops the ball to give them a penalty. We can't buy one after multiple infringments.

Wow what a game. One thing I learned is that we are a much better side than the Doggies. We had so many playing out of position but our scrambling on D was amazing. I know people complain about our halves but they were everywhere on D so would have been knacked. Capewell showed his quality tonight. Leka needs to play much more this season. They need to manage him and get him the rest he will need but that type of X factor is what we have been asking for. Also how the fuck is Barnett not in the 17 for the blues. Guy is a dead set legend.

Lol, funny how you lot are all changes, CHT and TMM not upto your expectations and you turn 🤣🤣🤣 typical

Disagree. We look so much better with that combo.

Try to appreciate that we played with injuries to key positions and still managed to almost take them.

Doggies are a tight knit team, on a roll and only just managed to slip by. If we had this effort week to week, we'd be lodged in the eight easy.

I don't blame the ref you make your own luck
Exactly. We make our own luck when a player hits us late and high. We should have been good enough to not get smashed in the head in an illegal tackle that is called as legal.

It's not the refs fault that the ref made a decision there. We seriously have to stop blaming the ref for the refs actions.

It's our fault we didn't get the penalty right at the end of the game.

Quite gutsy but let's be honest, this is one of those games that got away. We were all over these pricks before all the injuries happened. But even then, we had the chances to win this game. I daresay, SJ would have nailed one of those shots. AFB has every right to be pissed off at CHT after his 20m+ pcms the play before gave him a sitter 20m out that he missed.
The one that Mahoney touched to make it go left? What about tmm not even getting one off in regular time? A lot of chances at the end of the day could of had any of them including a blatant late high shot

Thought the forwards were great, barnett and afb in particular. Curran was really good for them. Still wish he was still here.

Unfortunately we all knew we would lose when it came to field goals. With the platform laid by the forwards today, we should have got the two points.
Curren was always mean..sad to see him go..

Hell of a game that. Great effort from the team to stay competitive despite the injuries and constant reshuffles. Bulldogs are a good team and have been unbeaten at home all season iirc. Their defence is top notch and they grind in a similar way to us, but we were in control until we went a couple of players down.

Ref's fault chat is garbage -- yes, the late contact no-call was harsh, but we had the rub of the green for all of the first half. Got away with slowing the ruck down quite a bit.

They made plenty of errors and we have our chances. Big problem was our 5th tackle options, and TMM's long range kicking. He had a couple of shockers. Good player with lots of good attributes, but he's not a top 8 quality halfback.

Forwards were awesome, RTS was very good, Pompey did well filling in at multiple positions. Halasima looked awesome on the ball and looks a physical freak (probably needs some reps defensively).

Nothing to panic about. Huge turnaround from where we were two weeks ago. If we keep putting in performances like that (without losing three players to injury), we will win many more than we lose.

15 guys played a 10/10 game while CHT and TMM chose today to play a 1/10.

CHT should be dropped for that no look pass on the first tackle with no one around him.

That no call on TMM is disgraceful but not really surprising when you factor in how I’ve mentioned a 100 times the results are manufceterted and no longer does the better team win.

A lot of gutsy efforts.

I've already mentioned Barnett. Will likely miss some.

Capewell was one of the guys moved all over the shop. He can cover centre but really it is just cover compared to when he was younger. Then he got moved to the wing.

AFB his usual big effort in the middle.

Ford came on as was busy.

RTS he slots so easily back to fullback.

Pompey another one moved around.

Walker got move back to him old position. Then it looked like was on the wing for a bit as well. Might be wrong there it was hard to keep up with all of the changes.

Halasima didn't exactly have a smooth debut in terms of getting on in his position and playing his allocated minutes. He did everything expected of him and much more.
