Zero mention of the Salmon hit / "head clash". And Burton was apparently outstanding... the bloke missed 4 field goals and couldn't organise a full strength side to score against a team with forwards all through the backline.

Also we were reported as a bumbling mess who couldn’t get into position to nail a field goal. Apparently we were very disorganised and blew the game.

Wtf!!!! We dominated field position and got to exactly where wanted to but couldn’t ice it.

What a fucking spin.

Funniest thing was they said we were shit then had a super long wankfest over how great the dogs are going. Do they know if went to golden point?

Yea it was fucking bizzare. Pretty much just glazed over it, have all glory to Burton and moved on.

No mention of how wild the game actually was or any of our injuries or the fucking most controversial moment of the weekend.

Two extra comments

1) Shout out to Bronson Xerri for not giving up and his try saving tackle on Leka who did everything but the score the try. Xerri has been very good this season.
2) I actually thought we would win before the match started and our 2nds players did a guard of honour and clapped the first team on the field. It was very energising and warmed my heart and would have settled the players as well. Should do that every game when we can.

Not referring to signing Brown for field goals, sign him for running x-factor, need others to sort out their clutch field goals, CHT is still choking so he needs to step up or they need to get someone else to do it properly, within or outside the squad, there’s a reason we lost those golden points until SJ came back in 2022, like we literally, scientifically sucked at field goals without SJ
Thanks for clarifying. As much as we have historically sucked without SJ it begs the question why we aren't prepared for such situations described as clutch moments.

Not dangerous?
What are you smoking
He broke his jaw?
I actually reckon it was more careless than dangerous however if all my lawyer movie watching has paid off it could be argued that it covers a few infringement descriptions.

Unlawyery I describe it as intentionally late high dangerous caused by careless lack of duty of care by that grubby weak gutted dog.

You can't turn CHT into a dependable Golden Point option with any amount of preparation. You look at the guns in golden point and it is experienced elite players like DCE and Johnson.

I disagree. Its a skill that can be learned under pressure. And develop muscle memory. CHT might end up being a ball playing centre in the Laurie Daley at centre mould but if he's deemed first grade worthy, develop the skill in him

Every dangerous tackle is a result of a careless act. Walsh in Origin 1. You couldn’t say it was ever Suaalii intent to knock Welsh out… that why it’s dangerous

Jaeman Salmon faces a two-to-three match ban for a tackle on Warriors halfback Te Maire Martin that left the Bulldogs forward with a suspected broken jaw on Saturday.

Salmon was charged with Grade 2 Dangerous Contact for the incident which occurred late in regular during Canterbury's 13-12 Golden Point win at Accor Stadium.
Hmmm… well guess that makes it all better then 🤷‍♂️.
Mohawk must have steam coming out his ears- imagine investing what he has into the club and copping this sort of shit- I’d be questioning my investment if I was him.

Not with that attitude, Wrighty!

You look at the guns in golden point and it is experienced elite players like DCE and Johnson.

Can you please clarify something, Wrighty? Did SJ become a golden point gun before or after he became an 'experienced elite player'? Was he born that way? Or did he become elite over..... years of preparation?

Love ya posts, mate 😄

He doesn’t have clutch genes
He has choke genes
He could write a whole book about it ✍️
Basically this is what I was going to say as well. Except to say only elite players can come through when clutch.
