I would drop Monty to depth winger as he had a big game with high intensity then he gets injured, probably body not coping at this time of the season or career. CNK persisted selection is inexcusable now he is out for a few weeks at least, and we had Taine ready to go

Don’t know how the inner circle works but if players are persisting the coach and physio need to make the call

I dunno, it's easy for us as outsiders to speculate, I mean there are some players who have to needle up just to get through a game, and they'll do that for most of the season which is madness.

I don't believe that Webby would make anyone play who didn't feel comfortable enough to play, or go against medical advice or risk someone who is 50/50.

Of course I have no way to know this, but to be fair to Webby he seems like the kind of bloke who gives a shit about his players. Very Ted Lasso like

The missed kick for touch killed our momentum we looked like we were going to be 16:6 attacking in the last 5 minutes, then Charnz got injured, if it was CHT who kicked it, it was insane he kicked to the far side and missed by a mile
WHATTTTTT !!!

Oh I wish you hadn't told me that Charnze kicked the penalty for touch.

Why the hell did they let him kick it.

Too little
Too late

Oh Sorry Warriors. Yeah you should have won but we wanted the Bulldogs instead 😤
Please accept our apology.

I don't put any bearing on the result.

- He has to kick the goal
- Dogs can tie with a 2-point field goal (Happened yesterday with Drinkwater) or a penalty
- They could regather the kick-off and win with a try.

The point that I missed post game and is now clear to me is it comes back to the review processes and safety.

It's not about the result, but it is about incompetence affecting player safety.

Wrighty re-read the message lol, someone missed touch then Charnz got injured defending a minute later, separate incidents haha

We’ll never know but we all agree the wrong call was made.

The officials don’t care about safety. They are doing lip service to please the woke culture.

Salmon walked away with a broken jaw, blood streaming from his face. There was zero care of duty by the ref to check the cause and effect. They are not interested. The result is more important.

You sent my blood pressure through the roof.
SJ wasn't on the field so when the cat's away the mice will play.

The goal would have been directly in front, and close.
Burton is one of the more likely to kick a 2 point field goal, but it is still a 90% chance he doesn't
Likewise the try.

It would have taken something special for the Warriors to lose that if justifiable penalties had been blown in that last 10 minutes of the game.

It is both the result and incompetence.

That two points could well be what we need to get in the 8. The Dogs are going good with an easy draw, but their two points could conceivably push teams out of top 4/8.

At the very least I'd expect the bunker officials to be stood down for a significant period for gross incompetence.

He played his worst game vs Titans apparently (didn’t watch second half lol) and was clearly off against Broncos, the coach should have noticed the drop in KPI and do something about it because the results were bad and even us posters could see something was up. I want them to learn and change from this so we don’t have another game with no bench

At least we know it’s not family, virus or mentally related ie anxious about his position now, on the bright side

Can recall again in an after match presser being really surprised at Webster and his attitude when Egan was copping a lot of head knocks over multiple games and was asked about it. He gave a response of something like them not being serious ones or something to that effect. Recall it because i thought at the time that Egan’s career must be in danger. Not saying that Webster is putting players in bad situations but with real competition for positions, players could be doing all they can to hold their positions?

I get that but doesn't change the fact the only thing we were denied was the chance to kick a goal to go ahead.

From there, who knows.

The other terrible play was not finding touch from a penalty which led to three straight minutes of our line under siege and our energy getting zapped. That must have effected our play after half time.
Kicking it out on the full on the 6th tackle a close third.
yes we don't deserve to make the finals when we have players that ARE DUMB AS FUCK basic footy for fuck sake!! no way we make the 8
