Can't knock them for one average performance
The way it's tracking this season 13 wins will guarantee a top 8 berth. With the draw giving 1 point 12 wins should also be enough to squeeze into 8th spot, but it's essential to get as many wins against the other sides who are currently sitting in the bottom half of the 8 or close to it. With us playing the Raiders, Sea Eagles and Bulldogs it still puts us somewhat in control of our own destiny. The fact the Dolphins and Sharks are tumbling down the ladder as well it makes it an interesting run home.We showed great intensity last night which will be needed in the home run to the finals.
13 wins is usually the magic number to make the play offs, that means we need to win 6 of the last 7.
Raiders
Tigers
Eels
Dolphins
Sea Eagles
Bulldogs
Sharks.

The most thrilling, gripping game of league I have ever seen (and believe me I've seen a few). No team deserved to lose that game - a fabulous advertisement for our mighty game.WOW! WHAT A GAME!!
Impressive from our boys, great debut for Leka and top attitude from every warrior!
Bring on the bye..
People are also forgetting our penalty for a leg lift tackle just before half time was pretty dubious, swings and roundaboutsOn replay that TMM incident is not that bad. TMM kind of runs into salmon but salmon is deff guilty of turning the shoulder nd being careless as both players suffer a head clash.
It's called consistency.... We got pinged for one of the exact same nature in Newy earlier in the year.People are also forgetting our penalty for a leg lift tackle just before half time was pretty dubious, swings and roundabouts

I am glad you finished on a humorous note - I thought you were serious there.Mate, they were fucking poor. And you know what, that's okay as long as we're all judging the players by the same standards.
Based on how fans have layed in to SJ the last few weeks, it's open season on these two for the next 2 weeks. I can't recall SJ missing touch, kicking that poorly or making 4 errors in one game. And he for sure would have iced one of those drop goals too.
Never should be picked again.
They should retire.
They were never good enough to begin with.
Etc etc.

Just to offer a thought old chaps......Mate, they were fucking poor. And you know what, that's okay as long as we're all judging the players by the same standards.

I hope so because every Warriors supporter was screaming to take it earlyA couple of time’s we had prime opportunity to set up for the drop goal early in the count, but did a play to our left edge-edge instead.
I think our halves will learn from this and not make this mistake again if we sneak into the finals.
I am happy with CHT and TMM, while they made a few poor decisions and executed certain things poorly yesterday, I think without our backline injuries we would have been able to see that one out yesterday. What to do with our current halves? Tuaupiki and Walker? Roache and Tuaupiki? Keep CHT and TMM?
What are your thoughts fine fellows?

I prefer first try wins. Avoids repetitive field goals. It also rewards the team who can win by skill.I'd be okay with golden point if the competition points were adjusted to account for it. You traditionally get 1 point for a draw. Then we go to golden point and the team that wins get the same points as the side that gets it done within the 80 minutes.
Then also the team that loses ends up with the same competition points as a team that loses within the 80.
I know the argument if a golden point loser gets 1 and the winner 2 means some games are worth more points but they could also make each game worth 3. Then a draw is still 1-1. Gould gets hot about this as it has been like this for 100 years. I'd argue changing it would make the race to the finals interesting as we'd need a few years to figure out how much points teams would need.
We are pretty good. But when we're right it still doesn't change the game. Its pretty hard to be noble losers consistently when you are in the bottom end of the table calculating how to get in the finalsBulldogs fans love the non call though and are calling us the biggest whinging fanbase in the comp
We can rightly bag Brown.Nathan “browned” all over him…
Altho I think the TMM would be a soft penalty to win on, the real question and kinda annoying part is last week dogs vs sharks there was no hesitation calling a late tackle on the dogs player, when they were clearly tackled legally during the kick. There's a definite hesitation around giving penalties in the closing 10-15minutes of a game. Good luck trying to get one in golden point.
My question is, why don't we plan around this?
