Boyd hasn't lit the world on fire but he is a lot better than NSW cup... If true thats rough as guts from the coach and club.
Apart from the nerves getting to him in a dramatic finish against the Knights, I think he has done a good job both before and after (in no way contributing to those defeats). He has a good kicking game and is very reliable in converting tries. Also his distribution to the centres gives them plenty of space. I hope I am wrong, but if true, Webby is showing signs of panic.

Of course it ain't all on him but these things contributed to those losses.

vs Titans - tackled at 79%, goal kicked at 67%, 0 attacking stats and conceded a penalty

vs Dolphins - tackled at 62% , just 34 run metres & 1 ruck infringement

I'm not calling for his head but there's no need to overlook these things & pretend he's not blameless

He remained on the ground for 2 play of the balls. The camera went back to him 30 seconds after the try and he remained in the same spot but had rolled onto his back. He had cramp
That is an odd type of cramp/in an odd place - but not unusual - it is a shit happens cramping.

It feels to the sufferer exactly the same as doing your back.

He did the right thing. Cronk is an idiot.

He would have felt like a disc prolapse or other serious potentially harmful injury. I would not be surprised if his Hamstrings were in spasm as well....which would add to the 'Í'm in big trouble' sensation.

At 19 or whatever, how is he supposed to know that the mass spasms in his lower back are muscular skeletal cramps and not some structural damage to his spine?

But here is the thing, if you have back cramps, and they are severe, you can't stand up anyway.....like I say, never watched the Cronk comments....but he is an idiot.

There is a reason players with calf cramps cannot stand, they lie on their backs fooked, well back cramps are ten times worse.

I should have posted something earlier on this but I couldn't be bothered.
