To be fair

First kicker - Pompey
Second - Tuaupiki
Third - CHT
Fourth - TMM

What were the odds of both Pompey and Tuapiki getting injured aye???? Some real bad karma going on with this team

Doesn’t mean it wasn’t your fault we lost CHT. And your kicking still sucks. You weren’t expected to kick

I have been thinking of it consistently for the last hour. It wasn't just that game, he missed on others like that, though not with the result on the line like that one. He wasn't a bad player despite those foibles!

For CHT, you could tell he was overthinking it. He kicked a lot in his first two years at the club. A lot of the backs looked rattled, there wasn't much confidence with the high balls etc. Who can blame them, what a shit show of combinations in the last two weeks.

They just weren't up for it.

A lot of chatter about the late start, the temperature - losing Taine inside 10 mins.

But the number of arm grabs early was just such a concern. How can we have two weeks off, season on the line and come out with our tail between our legs?

Credit to them, we got back into the game but we have started like Canberra many times this year and been run down comfortably - sad that we could not go on with it.

Who remembers Stacey shanking that shot in Wellington against the Bulldogs in 2001?

That was for the win. There is a distinct lack of correlation on here leading me to think it is from a time long forgotten!
I'll be honest I don't remember that thank god...but that could be to do with the minor prem and a gf the very next year plus a good 2003 clouding my memory. 37 BTW and Tbh there's a lot of bad Warriors memories jammed in up there so forgive me for forgetting that one. Lol. Hopefully I'll forget this one when we make the gf next year. 🤣

That Stacey Jones missed kick game we didn't deserve to win despite the miraculous comeback. This game is similar in that the kick shouldn't be the defining moment of the result. We had so many other poor moments that deserve scrutiny than a kick to tie the game, as much as it may seem like it should.

I’m 26 and only began watching every single warriors game from round 1, 2010. Think we have only made finals 4 times from then to now. I can’t remember someone missing such a crucial easy kick like that last miss cht had.

I remember that, but CHT aint Stacey and nor do we expect him to be, we had this game won before anything CHT did or didn't do
