Fk I can’t get to sleep knowing our seasons over.
And it's only July 20th, long wait until March. Might have to get another hobby to fill the empty void. Do people still collect stamps? I'm not even interested in fukn stamps. Can't remember what I used to do with all my time when the season's over this early. Pretty sure it wasn't stamps. Might go back to following the AB's, rugby's still slightly more entertaining than looking at stamps. Not much though.

Its like the clubs been cursed not to succeed this year ..... started from day 1 against the Sharks. And since then it's just been downhill. No need to mention the unlucky shit that's happened, we all know..
At the point of no return, probably go and win the rest now and still miss out..
Apologies for my pessimism..

This is exactly what I expect.

More wins than losses to end the season. A finish of 9th or 10th.

tough last couple of results, but that's football. Tough for CHT when that's not his gig, he was pretty much handed a poisoned chalice, although I'd say he would have expected to get that last one too.

Pompey gets some grief in these forums, but for mine he was our best in the first half. Safe, strong and the little step he's developed this year to get through the first tackle has made him a little more dangerous on attack. I'm not saying he's a star, but he's developed into a true first grader this year IMO and I'm enjoying having him in the side

I don't pay too much attention to post match pressers.

It's what goes on behind closed doors that matters.

Ultimately we were relying on a 3rd string goal kicker to tie a match that we couldn't even get up for after a 2 week rest.
From memory didn't Barney go OK with the kicking at the knights

Feel guttered for the Boys….The result was not what I wanted but to almost pull it off with gut wrenching injuries that sure didn’t help .plus once again that 2nd half had me unable to sit still.Mind you that dam wind didn’t help .It’s not a one person game but a team game .🥰your my team win loose or draw 👍🏻

disappointed. Not our year. Barney and Capewell were massive for us. AFB really stepped up when needed as did RTS. Unlucky with injuries again. If Pompey stays on we win. CHTs general kicking game was pretty good. Maybe TMM was carrying an injury as he hardly kicked for distance. We were just rolling up the field most of the time. Story of the season.

Been supporting this team since March 10 1995. It’s a roller coaster and we gotta get round the players. They’ll be back. Still hurts though….

Not our season how many times do we have to use that line.I thought they were a total letdown of themselves and us fans last night considering what's at stake.Kicking was abysmal and we need to find some speed somewhere. They looked tired and flat.Top 4 consistently is in dreamland at this stage. After following them for ever it's bloody hard to see light at the end of the tunnel.Rant over now I can breathe again.

Really?

I didn’t think we were in it at all this year.

Vibes were completely off from the beginning.

We have too many players that can play a lot of different roles but not many guys who are nailing their roles.
Just the optimist in me was holding onto the tiny chance we could make it click somehow and at least have a crack at sneaking into 8th position.

I usually can’t get to sleep that good after a close loss unless I’ve been drinking tbh.

I would be disappointed if he didn't show remorse. Wasn't his fault though he was looking uncomfortable for the previous kicks and should have been given to someone else

He’ll be fine., He’ll have a good cry. The team will rally around him. Maybe not AFB.

Definitely best role is a bench role for him. Does hsve what it takes to be the guy. The guy is SJ. We can’t all be SJ.

This issue with SJ has been the other 90% of the game. Our attack still looks insanely less clunky without him at the helm.

Don't forget the CONSTANT bomb to corners that we were subjected to at the start of the season.

Would he had nailed those conversions? yeah.
Would we have been in a position where he could even take those? This season results say no.
