I don't mind the Montoya tackle being a penalty or on report as it is the rules.
The penalty part I'd prefer if it was picked up on the play not a tackle after it and we go back. The media were up in arms a few years back about The Bunker calling play back. We get the game moving on now and some games are stopped and it is mentioned a player is on report for something a few plays back. But it is play on with the tackle count, while other games they go back for a penalty as well as putting it on report.
The coaches put a huge emphasis on making the opposition make more tackles and he we have play pulled back for that to happen by the referees. Sure the argument is don't commit the offence but it all wouldn't be an issue if they wouldn't be consistent game to game with how they call it.
It is frustrating watching a game and the play gets rolled back for the offence while others they stop mention the player is being put on report and move on.

Manning, needed that win. Now need to win at least 5 of our last 7 to have a shot at making the 8.
