DWZ would disagree, but his HIA looked legit. Bloody inconsistent though when, due to a head knock, Morrin wanted to have a dust up with Jazz but medics didn't interview
His nose grew a little as he answered that. Even started to throw it to Barney to answer before he said he didn’t want him to get in trouble. So you bet your ass he saw it.
I get that it won’t change anything, but pretty sure after Jason Paris called them out, we got a few more 50/50 calls the weeks following it
IF we play like this with fit players for the rest of the season we will make the top 8, unfortunately I think Webby will make another few mistakes and cost a couple more games and that’s enough to keep us out of the playoffs, or we have another week like the Titans turning up busted and mentally sad from the previous game.
This season is becoming a rebuild AND learning season for Webby, he won’t make these mistakes next year as missing out of play offs will force him to adjust and grow. Hope I am wrong this year but otherwise hope next season we get the experience and gun youth balance right, tuck away the brain fart selections, have JFH influence and win those tight games to finish in the top 2 or 4
Maybe sign a Dylan Brown and make someone into a kicker who can ice drop goals, Taine?
Yeah having the rule as two incents the player to do everything he can to pass the HIA so he doesn't disadvantage his team by making them be a man down. If we are taking head protection seriously then we should be able to replace the first HIA.
I will email the NRL, not that they will listen to me, and suggest this, their contact email is on their website and I have emailed twice before when I thought i had something valuable to say.
No what I was trying to point out
CNK going into the game injured and still played by Wendy
While Taine left on the bench
Interesting points on hia though
