We play the raiders in round 20 after the bye.
I don't think they have a shit show against us. I am convinced the NRL mafia will give us make up calls all game long.
Good luck for the match Ricky !!! Look forward to your presser !!!
Problem is that could have been a season defining game as to where we finish on the table. We’ve made our own luck in other games and despite having the opportunity to win it, it’s disappointing to have it decided like that after the team faced massive adversity and managed to stay in the fight

I am trying to think of the worst NRL decisions I have seen and this is quite high on my list.

Especially in the context of a precedent being set earlier in the game with going back for the Montoya penalty.

Years ago there was a forward pass called on Roger that would have been the match winning try and the forum was ropeable as replays showed it was flat.
Two months ago there was a kick in the in goal area where we scored and they disallowed it.
There was Dallin being tackled in the air to prevent a try which was a head scratcher about 6 weeks ago.

Bit at a loss as to why it wasn't a penalty on Saturday. We can't go back in time though. And there is nothing that can be done about it.

Feel so angry for the players and happens to all clubs but feels like we cop more than our share

I gave up two years ago hoping for accurate calls. I just count it as a bonus when one goes in our favour.
Rugby union is worse with officiating if that makes you happy. At least in league you know what the penalty is for, while in union there is a penalty every third or fourth ruck. And no one knows why.
I do remember thinking though on Saturday this one is so clear cut surely they at least give us this one. But no they didn't.
I wonder if the Warriors have had the most apologies from Annesly that would be an interesting stat to calculate.
There needs to be a push for Annesley to resign as he seems incapable of fixing the referring errors. It’s all comes from the top and putting pressure on him is the only way to get accountability.

The NRL would not allow that. They know it will "damage" their product.
People like Bennett have huge respect in the game and could lead the way into how the nrl can have more consistency in its product. Couldn’t be him alone but even a committee of ex players and coaches? Not saying this is happening but surely there gets to a point where there’s a question of fixing games with the betting world so prominent in sports today

It doesn’t matter
Accountability.
This nonsense has to stop
And it starts at the top.
Annesley has to go.
His response is a clear indication he’s either corrupt or incompetent. Or both.
Our saving grace could be that the NRL has product driven leadership and if the fans are turning against the officiating they will react.

I’ve always said we will never win the comp while the refs have ‘unconscious bias’ and we need to be vocal and angry in pushing the issue - backed by data and stats so it’s not a whinge.
