I'm agree with the consensus re CNK - looks like he has some sort of niggle holding him back. Also looks like he's been pummelled after about 5 mins, no real energy.

TT hasn't let the side down and would go well I suspect.

Other than that, not sure there are too many obvious changes. Would be nice to have another option at wing other than Montoya - however we have so little depth at wing at the club there's just no one to replace him with. We'd have the same issues there with RTVS.

Keeping cobbo quiet? You must have missed the don't argues.

The 3 missed tackles were all 1 on 1 with Cobbo and Cobbo made RTS look like a chump. We were lucky that was a no try from the bunker.

you do know who Cobbo is right? He's a tank and will get his tackle busts against pretty much any centre in the game.

Got absolutely burnt in that Cobbo no try and he knew it. Same the week before against the Titans. Some really terrible reads by RTS. And we wonder why he failed in Yawnion .as an inside Center… it’s a failed experiment if we’re being “honest” with ourselves Webby.

Leiataua should be back in Cup this week if the injury updates are correct. We have quite a bit of depth at centre, but it is being sorely tested with Ieremia-Toeava and Tu playing there this week

Reading a play and instincts has more to do with experience. He has none in that position. A younger RTS can compensate those mistakes with speed to correct but that’s gone and all you have now is a guy with “effort” trying to play catch up in every play. Not giving him 💙 Mighty NSW cup time to build his confidence and experience in that position is another red mark on Webby. He should have had cup time, especially after his injury to get his game fitness back. He still looks rusty as hell

I’d drop him this week for MGT. he’s not worthy of wing either. I’d give Montoyas spot to Tuapiki. Picking on form not reputation.

He’s getting selected on name and reputation alone. Not form. The same with others players and it’s obvious to see. Game against Dogs is the last hooray for our season in my books. And I don’t believe Webby will make the changes needed to win it

Here is my analysis for beating the Dogs

1) Must be able to defuse Burton's monster bombs. Our full back needs to practice this all week. Burton is the greatest Garry Owen specialist I have seen in my lifetime in either Union or League.
2) Must be able to walk away from Mahoney baiting us. This must be a discussion point at training.
3) Must give Kikau no space to wind up.
4) Must limit Xerri
5) Must draw them into an arm wrestle for most of the match.

Out of the 34 starting centres in the NRL - I would have RTS about 20-25th spot but he is moving up the rankings now he has switched sides.

We definitely need to get better at diffusing kicks- it’s been costing us big time.
Ive got zero confidence when the other team puts the ball in the air.
We’re not bad attacking them now we’ve started contesting again but terrible defending them.

They weren't tackle busts, they were fends to the face. At no point did RTS even touch him.

Also, I'm not anti RTS, I bought his 200 shirt, but he's not NRL center standard.

You are talking about the disallowed Cobbo try right? It was TMM he fended to the face, not RTS. RTS was there for the cover tackle right at the end to save the try.

Laban should not be suspended but if so Halasima. If Ale is suspended then Bunty/Sifakula. Couple of younger guys but Setu will have Pompey next to him and MGT has DWZ so experience next to them.
