Yes that happened too. They showed it on the big screen once and it was pretty clear, people around me were sure it would be pulled back, but .......

Yeah, sorry bro. That's the problem we end up with though. We get some calls go against us and then we see everything going against us even though they arent. RTS call should have been a bin. Barney staying down until he gets the call happens to every team. Players stay down if they think they deserve a call. Oh well, everyone needs to vent at something. Get rid of Cam George. Walk the team off the field. Boycott the NRL. Start our own competition.....

I really wonder what's been up with CNK this year. There's been instances most weeks where he simply isn't in the right place on defence, or makes an absolute howler of a play like dropping a simple catch. Last season he was Mr Reliable.

Maybe he's been playing busted but it's been so disappointing to see.

I don't understand it.

I once had an entire year of cricket where I couldn't buy a run. I think I averaged 3.2 !!! LOL then next year I bounced back to a strong year.
I dunno. Like you I am mystified. He has been the worst fullback in the NRL this season by some distance.

It’s simple
He’s a great finisher but can’t create anything for himself
He just runs straight and hard
If no one’s putting him into holes he’s effectively useless
Same goes with DWZ
How many has he scored this season? Bugger all
We need the right balance between players who can create something and those that can finish

Not ideal, I agree, however RTS is a liability not an asset.

Well, It still weakened the backline (Capes looked lost on occasions. Don't blame him) and took a workhorse out of the pack.

I think the worst part of the game was when we were 12-0 up and the officials manufactured a comeback. Penalised us for a great tackle pushing the bulldog back and over the line when momentum never stopped at all, then several soft asf calls until we couldn't hold them anymore and they scored.

This is not a dig at you. Just this always gets said. Even James Graham was saying in the post match.
I really don't like this "staying down" narrative. It's a contact sport, and sometimes players will get hit somewhere that hurts. There is a very high possibility that if a player is "staying down" that they possibly got hurt a little bit and need a moment.
If anyone thinks that it is always milking, then i suggest they punch themselves in their nuts and see if they need a moment to compose themselves.

1) Dropping high kicks
2) Being in the wrong place defensively to defuse grubbers
3) Looking like unco at the back while he can't change direction to dive on a loose ball and the other guy scores a try instead
4) Egregious missed tackles.

Not saying it doesn't hurt but players know that if they stay down it's going to get reviewed and if it's a penalty they get better field position. Not a criticism of the players, it's what happens now. My point was that people are saying Barnett had to stay down in order to get a penalty because it's the warriors and we wouldn't get it in the first place because of that. It's the same with all other teams and it happens every game

Don’t know why you’re singleling him out on defense when the rest of the team were no better..

He’s been bog average the majority of his career mate. A rare outlier of a season last year made him look better than he actually is.

There is Ed Kosi too....despite all of them CNK irked me the most because he was a rock last year. He went from strong asset to strong liability.
