One player can make so many look bad. As an example if your number 9 is having a really bad game this would flow on to your halves which then impacts your whole team. If one player is defending badly then the players either side of them start to try and compensate and then look bad. They are a team out there. One thing I don't understand is that 5 or 6 Warriors had the worst game of their careers and will individually be very dissappointed with themselves as high achieving sportspeople.
How is it possible 5 or 6 guys had their worst game of their career on the same day. What happened in the lead up to this match?
Did the coaching staff put too much pressure on them to win so in the end they were not relaxed and calm
It wasn't a short turn around?
We had plenty of crowd support
Was it the worst pre-match speech of all time by Webster
Did they all have a virus
Was there a waitress called Suzie who poisoned their food
I work with numbers and statistics for a living. The odds are astronomical that 5 or 6 normally good players would all have a nightmare on the same day.
Did they underperform on purpose?
Are those 5 or 6 players easily influenced by scoreboard pressure?
Something happened in the build up to this game that was out of the usual is my suspicion. But no idea what.
