We have zero out and out speedsters, and always get destroyed by teams that use theirs well.
Incredibly poor selections by Webby to shut down Titans speedsters. Lots of us could see big problems coming when the 24 hour team list was announced. Too reliant on bash and crash. Too slow to defend. Zangief v Vega
This season is done now. I vote we start blooding the next gen now, even if it is a couple of young guys every game. Huge respect to the old dogs for what they have done for the team over the years, even until very recently. However, the game has moved on. Speed is vital now. We ain't got none.

Actually this game his kick returns were the best he had done, seemed to get more pcm. If he eliminated the mistakes and kept that up he would be an OK winger.......on attack
Unfortunately he has had 3 all time disaster games on defence where his confidence seems
The Storm a couple years ago, Roosters first 15 mins, this one.

He carries hard but that's about it.

Haven’t watched the game yet but watched the highlights and the presser.. few thoughts:
  • The “next man up” which has been applauded has turned from “next in the position” to “next on the list”. This is hurting combinations and forcing players into positions they’re unprepared for (Walker..)
  • Webby’s body language in the presser was visibly different from any presser prior, swinging side-to-side in his chair; I’m not sure what to read into that but seems to me he’s been affected greatly by that hiding (good!)
  • I think Webby is a good coach but game day selections and tactics are an improvement area, remember this is only his second year. That said I don’t recall this many odd rotations or roster selections last year - Did Morgan compliment the coaching dynamic more than we knew?

The worst performance for years, the worst ever? Would have to be in contention... walker in the second row was a disaster (just to say one thing obvious) ... never again dudes!

There has to be a response.
For me definitely worst performance ever. Playing the bottom placed team who had just lost to the fucking Tigers of all teams and then only put 6 points on team who's defence is abysmal. Then that's not even taking into account their outs.

The difference is

NO BAILEY SIRONEN

THAT CUNT WAS A GOD

WHYD WE SIGN SHECK?

WHYD WE SIGN CHT?
It's worth remembering that RTS came to the Warriors vowing to win a premiership. Then walked out on the club as the clubs captain while the boys were battling to avoid the spoon, to chase his All Blacks dream. Call me old fashioned but I just don't see RTS as a good influence.

Yip webby made some poor decisions, I thought he would have started Tuaupiki. get some young ones XP seeming it was the Titans coming last.
