So first post here and what an auspicious game to make a comment on. So, been watching SJ play for a long time now. One thing I can tell you is that the football SJ is playing at the moment is the football he will continue to play for as long as he can get away with it. This is the form he was in when he was released four years ago. He wont improve! Tohu Harris hasn't been playing NRL football for sometime. And it's no coincidence that when both SJ and Tohu were in the team we were losing, when they were out injured the team began to find form and we started finding form with young hungry players. They both return from injury and back we go to shit again.
Montoya has also been out of form for most of the season, his get out of jail free cards must be all just about all played by now.
I see some people calling for RTS to go to. He isn't and never was a centre. Webby needs to own the shift the team is currently in and sack SJ, move TMM to 7 and allow TMM to run the attack and team in general. CNK into 6 which will allow RTS to shine in the only position he good at which is fullback. With Tane Tuapiki demanding time in the 1 jersey RTS will need to be on his game from the get go. Plenty of outside backs that can play better than what we are getting out of Montoya at the moment. Throw a young fella into his jersey. And like Montoya Harris has plenty of young loose forwards knocking on his door.
Well that's my 2 cents worth.

Last year, the boys were rebounding from one of the worst seasons the clubs ever had.

This year, we had a three game run where we were building momentum. That momentum ground to a holt when the team changed back to a losing setup.

I love your dedication, but surely it's getting pretty tough to stand on that side of the fence.
By 'losing set up' I'm assuming you mean SJ at 7 and TMM at 6?

I remember when we first signed TMM, Kevvie Walters declared him an out and out 6! What we saw in that 3 game streak was that he's pretty handy when calling the shots too.

I like what I see from TMM, and I'm all for it if that's what suits our game plan, but as long as SJ is fit and able, there's gotta be a spot for him.

We'll have Cleary and Metcalf also fighting for positions next season to.

To be fair to Webby, "group" means the full 30 players, not the 17 who played today.
Really disturbed Tohu apparantly had nothing to say. A "I'd just like to apologize to the Warriors fans for that performance" type speech, no finger pointing, no blaming himself, would have suited me fine, but nothing?!
Mitch needs to be made permanent Captain ASAP. Heck, anybody. Someone who knows what to say in situations like this. Not expecting self-immolation, but some acknowledgement to the fans that, yep, today we were shit and we're sorry.

Needs to come out and admit he's fucked up with some selections and that changes are due. He definitely seems like a player's coach but atm you've got guys not working hard for the jersey.

I'd be dropping SJ, Tohu and Jazz immediately.

Kosi should never see NRL time again, but if you were going to play him why the fuck do it against the fastest guy in the NRL.

Brainless from Webster.

I don't wish to suggest the jokes on here - such as my own - are predictable, but there are as yet undiscovered tribes in the heart of the Peruvian jungle nodding to themselves going "Yep! Knew he'd say that!"
They predicted the 6-66 result, too.
I'm having an existential crisis after that result buddy, cut me some slack

Just want to credit everybody in how bloody quick this thread's grown to 12 Pages Long.
If we'd won, it'd maybe get there by maybe Tuesday morning.
It's true what they say: Bad. News. Sells.
