Just having a look, how mad is it that Kalyn Ponga is 9 points better off than SJ this year:

Ponga
4 losses, 2 wins
1 try
6 line breaks
5 line break assists
3 try assists
0 forced sets
11 errors

SJ
3 losses, 3 wins
2 tries
4 try assists
6 line break assists
0 line breaks
6 forced drop outs
3 errors

Beats Ponga in everything except for line breaks, and has won more games so far...so how the heck is Ponga more than double what SJ has?

Ponga should runaway with the Dally M this year, he'll get points in losses even when he's not the best performer on their team let alone the field, Newcastle will get more wins than losses this year and he makes the superstar attacking plays which these judges seem to base points on.

It's just a circus cuz they'll go under table after a dozen rounds then it's all committee agenda appointed

Do they not know how shady it looks to go private for 3 months, especially everyone can see how they snubbed SJ, they really think fans are stupid

At the very least they should reveal the results for each of those rounds, fo those 3 months going private after the awards.

But the Dally m system is terribly flawed and favours great players surrounded by average players in their team.
Players choice is where it's at.

Better system would be to rate the top 3 players from both teams playing out of 10 and add the totals up, with all 3 players possibly all getting 10/10 or the same lower rating if that's how they played.

Oh don’t worry SJ will get 0/10 in the final round 😂

Jackson Hastings 6, Dane Gagai 4, Jayden Brailey 1, Charnze Nicoll-Klokstad 1

I didn't think I'd be arguing Dally M points against a Warrior, but how tf has CNK warranted a point in that game?

If anything, I thought he was one of our worst out there, at least compared to how he usually plays. That point should have had AFB written all over it.

I feel like Kalyn Ponga should have just gotten all 12 points on offer lol, None of the 33 guys (Should be 34.. shoutout Webbys bench) that took the field deserved fuck all.

This list is odd ... a lot of middling and inconsistent performances in there, albeit good players... it's hard to think of any standouts across the entire season really, except for Hughes and (arguably) Fonua-Blake... who would you give the Lock award to for instance? at different points in the season all those three were playing way below their best
