It's scary how big of a gap between the top 2 and the rest of the league. I don't know if we will ever be at this level of play Penrith and Storm did tonight. Hope I'm wrong though but we have insurmountable work to do.

What’s peoples thoughts on the bench use from Penrith? One not used and one for only 29 minutes, despite losing To’o to injury.
It’s a constant criticism of Webster but the formula was pretty similar from both sides

It was funny as watching with my Melbourne storm neighbour.
He kept complaining about the the panthers slowing the ruck and blowing up when the storm were penalized - I’m like- bro u ain’t playing the warriors now- the refs not gonna let Harry grant tell him what to do all game

the good guys won, i reckon - intense game, clear well executed plan from penrith won it - amazing to witness. For the storm Coates and grant were impressive, others didn't really come into it - Martin was best on field, should get Churchill

That was a high quality final but definitely not an all time classic.

I'm not sure if I found it amusing or a bit sad that the emotion by the Panthers and their fans were quite subdued. I guess that happens when it's a 4th in a row. What we would give for just one.
