I might sound pretty negative but Nikoure is one player I want shopped to other clubs.
No fault of his own with the injuries that have plagued his time here.
But he has been so underwhelming for mine, errors, running at players not gaps etc.
We could use his salary a lot more on the open market or Webby needs to whip him into shape.
He was fit last year and the RHS shape we were running was so crisp that his runs were far more effective. As opposition teams had to either commit players to him where SJ would then play out the back, or they would fan and SJ would hit Niukore flat.

He was beefed up and trained the whole pre-season as a bench middle. We saw how effective that could be in the trials when he was fit and rampaging. He then does his foot injury and misses 10 or so weeks. Ford and Capewell were completely ineffective during that time, so when he returned Webby put him back on that edge. Problem being he'd been off for 10 weeks not running with a foot injury, and was already heavier given he was supposed to be a middle in 2024. It didn't help that the RHS attack was now completely ineffective and all we were doing was spamming short balls to him every set on the line.

So while his pay packet is a bit large(800k I think is the media report?), and it's been a dissapointing season for him which I personally feel the coaching staff have a bit to cop for also. I still think he has a fair amount of value as an aggresive mobile middle in 2025. Webby needs to be using Leka/Laban on the edge though, and Marata as a last* resort if they plan to keep him beefed up as they did for this season.

Fuck I just realised this wasnt just SJs last game but

AFBs last game
Jazzs last game
Possibly Walkers and Buntys (didn’t play but still) last game.

Pretty fucked the boys couldn’t get up for this.

Arman 2.0 you write you live in melbourne. Just wondering are you really a wahs fan . Or a storm fan in disguise. Your comments are disturbing about sj. And it does make you wonder what you are you trying to achieve to sabotage rhis champion player. And his many memories he has created. Have you ever played professional rugby league. Because if not really should you be a critic no my guess is not. As none of us know what they put their bodies through every day. Also there is a reason why tmm has been through 4 clubs this is just my opinon.

Been a season of just spurts. I cant think of any game where we have played well for the full 80. Rabbitohs game probably closest to that effort, but was helped a lot by how woeful the Rabbitohs were rather than how good we were.
Cowboys was another. There will be arguments around them having SoO players backing up but we dominated that game, piled on the points and won easily at their home ground. Couldn't have done much more than thar.

I couldn’t watch the game last night but was able to follow it on here.

Without the emotion it was eye opening. I could literally predict what would happen next and it did. Rush out to couple of try lead, opposition get all the calls and the score closes up at half time before we limp to a loss.

It felt like I had seen it all before, the rushing out to a lead, looking unbeatable - then reffed out of the game.

Home games at Go media:

R1 sharks - 2 try lead after 20; scores closer half time; lose
R4 knights - 2 try lead after 20; scores closer half time; win!
R8 titans - 2 try lead after 20; scores closer half time; lose
R15 Storm - 2 try lead after 20; scores closer half time; lose
R16 broncos - 2 try lead after 20; scores closer half time; win!
R25 Bulldogs - 2 try lead after 20; scores closer half time; lose

We have never got a 2 try lead away from Go Media this year…

Honestly NRL you need to change the script for reffing Warriors home games because the manipulation is getting to predictable…

Sometime I think it’s all out of the players and Webbys control 😉

Yeah it was nothing to do with our awful defence, particularly right side, that let them back in the game.

So if that was to be a sendoff to honor players it was flatter than the pancakes I'm having for breakfast. We should have called it off after 40 mins. The will and desire went out the back door .Gutless fin to end season at home Some need to take a serious look at how and where this club is going honestly.

32mins from Sifakula

Killed the false narrative that he can’t go any longer than 10mins…
Sort of. He did his 32 minutes in three stints, 9 mins before half time, 15 minutes after half time, and then the last 8 minutes.

Still very encouraging that he did 24 minutes broken by halftime, that’s enough to share an 80 minute shift with a starter.

Needs a big off season to build out his minutes further.

I just can’t believe how far we have fallen. There were times in the 2nd half when I back three were taking the first 4 hit ups and the halves did nothing to get involved. You could sense the effort from the players and also their frustration that our attack plans are completely ineffective.
I am hoping the coaching team knows exactly where they have gone wrong and if the assistants have the ability to change for next season.

This is literally what Webby has been wearing since day one as coach. What do you expect, a suit and tie?

Honestly there's a lot to get worked up about this season but the dress code is a real interesting thing to pick.
He does have a point. The Tigers and Broncos coaching box have the smartest dress code in the comp and it's... ...what was the point again?
