Hasn't he tried to fight most of our FG and NSW Cup players.....

Haha yeah he's a bit of a lose cannon. Day one would be interesting when he rocked up to training but he does strike me as one of those players who you'd love to have on your team as he really has a dig.

I'm not super convinced with his skills as a 13, and doubt he'd consider us, but it wouldn't be the worst signing in our history, especially if it's for the right money

Corey Horsburgh has requested a release from the Raiders.

We keen? Could potentially solve our 13 dilemma but he'd be an absolute lose unit, probably Kane Evans v.2 for us, would be suspended every 2nd week
He wouldn't make it through our preseason. Day one on the sand dunes and he would have season ending sunburn!

On the Walker situation. Has he actually requested a release, or are the media assuming because Jazz leaked that Walker is currently single?

Would love to have Walker off the bench, but if he needs to leave then all respect to him. Jazz might get a revised offer, but if Metcalf can stay on the field then the 14 should be CHT. He doesn't NEED to be a 13, he just needs to be a distributor, get into dh, kick and tackle. He does all those things pretty well for a 14.

Between, Ale, Halasima, Laban, and Sifakula surely we can field a 13 who can ball play.

Ideally for me, trialling Barnett at 13 if Tohu retires. And CHT to put on some size over the off-season and come in a be that ball playing 13 for us for 20 or so minutes. Leave the cap space created with Jazz, Walker, SJ and Tohu(2026) leaving for a shot a Dylan Brown or Weekes at 6 with Metcalf at 7. And some money for Neame, Leo Thompson or Whyte to pair with JFH 2026.

To quote yourself...
Umm...no chance lol.

Jazz still has plenty to offer, however with the significant amount of exciting rookies we have something had to give. It's not inconceivable that now that the club's hand is likely forced with Walker leaving, there could be room for Jazz to stay. We'd be losing 350+ games with Jazz and Walker leaving and replacing them with about 8 games. Very risky

I think you're being pretty unfair about Jazz and his impact on the team too - the last 10 weeks he's had 2 errors and 0 penalties and has averaged about 100m off the bench.
If you see that as not good enough why on earth do you add Bunty in the list of people to replace him when Bunty's never evidenced he's been able to do that, let alone provide something better?
Jazz IMHO is way better than Bunty. When Bunty was told to test the market he did not get an offer so chose to stay here on unders. Jazz will have no problem getting another contract as he not only uplifts the team but is a far all round better player. I like Bunty but he is very one dimensional and easy for teams to counteract.
Really don't know how the two can be compared in the same sentence.

Personally if you’re looking for an out and out prop I’d take Bunty over Jazz.
Jazz really should’ve been developed as a utility and I’m sure that was the plan but he just doesn’t have the skill level for it.
Playing him as a specialist middle has thrown out the balance of the side imho.
Btw how do u know Bunty didn’t receive any other offers?

Not sure if it's been mentioned, but I wonder if the news of Walker asking for a release could give Jazz a bit of a life line? Obvs different players but as many have alluded to - Jazz, AFB, Walker, and potentially SJ is a shit tonne of experience lost with only JFH coming in next year.

Wouldn't be the worst thing in the world to offer Jazz another 100k on top of what we've offered, and then have him leave at the end of next year instead.
Yes Tookey - I will throw an extra nuance in of subject to Jazz goes over the remainder of the season.
If our plan is to promote going then I can see them re-thinking on Jazz.
