That challenge was silly. They should hold them off for later in the game.

I know they were probably thinking it gives them another shot inside the opposition 20 but it would be better to leave it in case there is a more telling call later.

A few weeks ago we lost our challenge and the opposition pushed the envelope a bit more in playing at the ball in the tackle.

The challenge wasn't why we lost. Just a point I am bringing up.

I was wandering who the hell challenged it. Like did the Titans get penalised and they were arguing it wasn't high? It would be more understandable in that case. No it was us.

Sort of sums up our night. Heads down, not focused.

For reasons I don't understand all NRL coaches seem to regard captains challenge as a lottery and give no guidance to the captain on when to use it. I would definitely instruct my Captain not to use it until 20 minutes left in each match. When you have a captain's challenge up your sleeve it makes the other team more careful.

Better pull out the lyrics there may be some clues. to what went wrong.

Hell and fire was spawned to be released
Unfortunately it was released by the Titans.

Torches blazed and sacred chants were praised
As they start to cry, hands held to the sky
In the night, the fires are burning bright
The ritual has begun, Satan's work is done

During that game there would have been a lot of crying and hands helup screaming WTF.

Six six six, the number of the beast
Sacrifice is going on tonight

There may be a few jerseys burnt tonight.
Fukn ell we've turned to summoning Satan now, when do we get our robes and start the sacrifices

We've had some awesome highs under Webby and a few shocking lows, on the whole the highs far out weigh the lows.

He'll get there.

He may not be given time after todays shitshow

Didn’t you hear Walker before the game saying they’d been down the beach leading up? Obviously been there for a couple of days? More going on when performances like this occur
I was just winding you se up !

The only players I saw with energy were CHT Marata Laban Ale patches with AFB

What a disaster

Too old
Too slow

Warned you se about Khan Zpereira - four tries Rts Kosi hmmm

It was silly that they didn't give us a penalty because that was a head high tackle. The call that it was a wrapping tackle so was ok is the first time I have ever heard that ruling, badger makes up her own rules.

Just as a fan, I thought it was a guarantee

badger makes up her own rules. She should be dropped after that call along with the no try call What good is a sorry letter from the NRL later on

I only watched 35 mins of the first half so only goin on what I saw.... for me Webster getting to fancy with his selection, why the fuck would you have on a edge Dylan Walker when hes been our best middle forward and link man, crazy selection....

why ta fuq would he bring in Kosi against known speedsters and have RTS defending inside him, whos been out injured and whos defence has been questionable already, was a disaster waiting to happen and by the final score it looks like it was.....

I know Tohu is slow and way past his best but from the little i saw he wasnt our main problem first half, he made some good carries, but his time as linkman is done, to slow he needs to go front row with limited minutes...

ShaunyJ, ShaunyJ, ShaunyJ hes basically picked up where he left off with losses and predictability, nothing he did screamed to me hes learnt anything by watching the boys win without him, its sad to see him, RTS lose game awareness they remind me of the good olds when we always lost.... for me SJ has to be dropped, RTS to the wing or nothing at all, and Tohu to Front row interchange bench....

people always giving Rocco grief, he aint perfect by any stretch but now ya know why people like him because of the importance of having a good defensive centre, how many Titan opportunities would he have snuffed out before they got started, such a shame .....

im just lost on how we come back from this, I know the whole team took a part in this loss, just feels hopeless at this point, I cant see us winning against Broncos, where to go from here, big decisions need to be made.... this one hurts big

That consistency and mental resilience that great sides have but has eluded us and finally shown through in this performance. Close defeats that hide the bare facts... ageing superstars, lack of speed, and concentration, compounded by errors and ill discipline plus some odd selections particularly off the bench.
We'll see what Webby is made of now.
I've always been a critic of SJ, he's a mercurial talent but afraid of injuries and would be infuriating to play alongside of.
There's enough talent in the squad to reach the finals but changes needed.

I would instruct my captain no captain's challenges in the first 60 minutes no matter what. Even if a flagrant call. You just can't trust the ref's to agree with you it was a flagrant call. I also thought it was a head high shot but also was baffled why we gave the ball to Montoya when the cover defence was close by. He needed to be Greg Inglis to score that try and he isn't Greg Inglis.

Don't get me wrong. As much as I didn't like the challenge when it was being reviewed I was wanting it to go our way.

They usually are tough on players tackling a player scoring and going high or not using their arms.

I then got annoyed with how quickly they made the decision.
