There is something weird about getting emotional because a guy, who doesn’t know you, is deciding to leave his job isn’t it?? But goddamn it I can’t fucking help it when I see shit like this haha

Had our Moko here yesterday, he's 12. Sat down 9pm preparing to watch the game but somehow the fu(king TV wasn't hooking up with the sky box!? Checked HDMI1 then 2, 3... WTF?! Rang sky prompt and got the "We're having technical problems etc" auto-bot BS... Hough!!!

Quick as hooked up the lappy-TV and jumped on the site that I have Always followed till the Very fuc(ing End.

Sup NZWARRIORS.COM. You guys/gals kept us all in the mix and up to date (I've never had to do/read the "Game Day/Thread" thing before. Ever!) It was really refreshing but, I got to say, I'd asked my Moko to read it out (not only does he love the NZWarriors, but it was to keep him aware and more so involved.) Lol, that first to the eightenth page had us Up then All worried, as he had free reign to read it "Real" (he did ask if he could swear, bless him, we all agreed that because it was Shaun Johnsons Very Last game as a NZWarrior... Go On Son!!!)

Sing when you Win!

After DWZ scored his last for the hat trick... I reckon Stacey Jones would've been grinning from ear to ear and shaking his head in Proud disbelief, "WTF Again," watching the Prince of Penrose lead The Warriors one final time to another epic win. Only The General Knows how Good it Is.

Day's almost done, I hope you All had a Happy Fathers Day. Btw sky box's still on the blink, pfft.

Up The Wahs and Go The Mighty NZWarriors!

So many highlights, and will go down as one of the greatest (not fair on the handful who deserve it to label any single one as the greatest IMO) Warriors and Kiwis of all time!

One of the telling things for me was him stating his passion for bringing through the next wave of halves - which is awesome in and of itself, but because he never had that. Given one of the other greatest Warriors and Kiwis, it is an interesting indictment on the other Stacey... but also shows how great a player SJ is that he has created his legacy without that kind of guidance. He was phenom in his youth, but it took him leaving the club and going to the Sharks to turn him into a Hall of Fame half who got to finish his carer in the way he did.

In the lead up to that last set, Mick Ennis said in commentary on Fox that the RL Gods are giving him a final chance, and SJ took that with both hands! The RL Gods haven't always looked up SJ favourably (what could have been if Hank Scorpio hadn't broken his leg/ankle...), but I'm glad they let him close out his career just like that - with how it all started, a bloody f%$king fantastic "touch highlight"!

Well done SJ7 - and all the best for the next stage of your career and life, we'll all keep following one of the best to do it!
