Some work to do to try to over take some teams now and work our way up the ladder (yes I know we have the bye coming)

I reckon either us or Manly will miss the 8 by 1 point because of that drawn game. Luckily The Silvertails have Penrith after the bye, if they get pumped and we beat cows we overtake them. Wouldn't have dreamed of this scenario couple of weeks ago.

I compared to last year’s situation and we were 6:6 before the bye, the difference in teams played evened up, except we drop a point against Manly (beat them last year), and provide we do a double against the Dolphins later in the year.

This feels huge heading into the bye, basically same position in the ladder to last year, getting troops back next month, confidence high, youngsters growing, challenging seniors, coach learning well working out plans and learn about players

It’s like cricket scoring 200/3 before collapsing to 220 all out in the first inning, then bowling 180/0 before your Glen Philips and allrounders both scored hat tricks to pull it back to 230 all out, and in the 2nd innings your Ravindras putting up 30/0 in 3 overs at stumps

Tom Ale 19 minutes and a whopping 89 metres.

He only played 19? Wow

Plenty of time left

We still got what? another 12 rounds to go?…
15? This year is already so much more dramatic than last year, I am so glad to have a break next week, it’s like work for the fans lol, stressful.

I reckon we are in a better position now than say 6:1:5 cruising through games vs Drags and Titans then losing to Penrith etc, all the adversity on and off the field surely made the team grow

Btw we could have been 3:1:8 the way it was going, that would be season done

Due to the log jam it's highly likely we both make the 8 and the rest of the jam misses by 1 point well just as likely as one of us missing very interesting year titans finding some form Parra and bunnies can start playing to potential and no team doing a penrith and really putting lightyears between them and the pack

So hearty they knew had the better of them and didn’t panic. Good leadership from the halves.

Phins will do well to make the 8, farnworth was giving us nightmares, but their forwards are sub par (old mate aitken probably their best) and as good as katoa is for a youth he is on the ball A LOT, batter him like we did he has to run out of spark.

Some individuals who survived the injury curse are just straight playing better, Monty is leaping 8 foot in the air to claim kicks instead of staying grounded and losing them - what’s that about, Ale looking to break tackles instead of submitting in them and TMM has just about saved the season as hard as everyone else works, someone has to provide the points and he’s done it 2 weeks in a row.

So when everyone comes back after the bye, Shaun you don’t need the ball all of the time, Tohu you are not playing more than 60 minutes and Berry you have to do something other than chase kicks. The coach needs to make sure that happens mind you.

Niukore showed what we’d been missing as well, runs to hurt.

True Knights, Raiders and Dolphins could slide right out, crazy comp to predict at this stage.

First thoughts watching the game just now.
TMM takes the ball to the line like JT.
XHT and him look good together.
Walker is faster than tohu , much faster. Tohu still is an anzing player. But he needs to play less minutes and more prop.
Cnk out the back would look even slicker imo. But dall is 100% effort , time 4 the ercond half lol

In the presser webby said they didn't want to say what but had a tidy of a few areas I'd say all the backs had a few reps on how to contest the kicks on both sides of the ball.

Just saw again Ale breaking the Dolphins’ forward from kick off lol

The pack played like “we are all AFBs” lol, or was the Dolphins pack that bad?

V for Vendetta, B for Brownies

I thought Bunty looked much more aggressive tonight. Hit the lines hard and was giving it 💯 That’s all you can ask for end of the day. The whole team were good. Aside from that bugger of a ball drop and WTF kick on the 5th by Kosi I thought he was OK as well.

After an incredible win it’s all love baby! 😂

Ya agree, though I can keep Kosi as last resort winger when others are back hahaha, I was having a heart attack every time they pass him the ball over his head

Running joke with the wife lol she is a bunty fan and every time he played I would point out how his runs looked good but didn't break or bend the line then tonight his first run got half a body through and I was clapping like he just won us the grand final

I thought their halves caved, even the last attacking play the young half put up a bomb at halfway, I was scared they would go wide to their speedsters, Dallin caught it easily and ended the game
