Maybe it's just a coincidence, although his bench minutes in 2025 went into the negative so looks like a trend. They are positive as a starter however so you can turn your frown upside down.
Coming off the bench isn't foreign to him, as Berrell's understudy in the Sharks NSW Cup side, but he's yet to show much in first grade when getting introduced mid match. Maybe it'll come, or maybe he suits the starter role better.
I highlighted Bunty having a poor +/- as a starter in 2023 and was meet with a similar response about all these other factors outside of his control & that he was in fact "softening up the opposition". Simple fact is that when Bunty was on the field in 2023 we weren't as effective at scoring more points than the opposition. That's currently happening with Healey's minutes. Who's to say the tide might eventually turn though?

He’s been pretty quiet this year, thought he was awesome last year.
Still one of the best young hookers going around.
Hasn’t been getting much game time this year to inject himself either.

I thought he played well in the 3 games he started, not so much off the bench.
Eye catching performance on debut vs Cowboys that people were glazing him for but in that short spell he was responsible for 2 turnovers in 14 minutes, including a 7 tackle set.
Just needs to redirect his energy better & no better role model for that than Jackson Ford

What I'm more concerned about is Egan, usually he plays very well in the lead up to Origin only to miss out each year then his form takes a huge dive afterwards with Egan just running out of steam.
This is where Healey comes in, a young up and comer nipping at his heels.
The way he was going last year he would've burnt out at his pace so has probably been told to slow down a bit.

We know at this rate that he gets the 7 jersey back next season as Boyd isn’t signed for next season currently along with CHT. Both have shown what a settled preseason both last season and this season can do

I have concerns about him ever getting back to his best. Loss of speed after his injuries but if he was fit and healthy our chances of winning the whole thing would be increased

Hard to say Kos .He has already stopped goal kicking. Hopefully he continues to be good for us but there's always that niggling doubt
