The valuable thing the last two weeks was it showed Webby has the game plan or solutions and players need to have healthy competition and discipline to play in the 17, even if you are the captain or the highest paid prop on the game, and the coach is willing to pull the trigger if you are not up to premiership chasing attitude or standard

uThe past 2 weeks have shown that a younger, healthy team trumps an older, busted team.

SJ, Tohu, Capewell, RTS etc should only return when they are back to full fitness and rearing to go.

Trust that the young ones are going to do a job in the mean time. No need to rush the old timers in.
Yes 100% agree We should trust the young players to do their job in the meantime and not rush injuries. What I liked about our attack is the variety in our play, not just relying on SJ for the last play. TMM and CHT both had some nice touches. TMM only got lost a few times, but it wasn't as stressful as when we've seen SJ thinking he has to set up the try every time, which can become one-dimensional and easy read to the other side...

Watching the Sky 51 replay, the opening prologue gave me goosebumps

TMM was in football god mode in that 60-70th minute choke

CHT playing to his strength backing up, and SJ type bombs from halfway

Moala I thought was CNK, we had these guys in the backyard!?

DWZ grew into the game, some clunks (pass to Kosi too high etc), but overall a fantastic fill in

Pompey is our No.1 centre, ironman and kicks goals, kick offs too. Monty was immense back to pre-extension form

Ale continues to be a beast, shows he has an offload game, needs to calm down a bit

Afoa 🤯🤯🤯

Marata was immense, aggressive on defense too, IMO we don’t win without him. Was he playing middle or edge at the end??

Jazz, Walker, Ford all good, Walker gave Ford a hospital pass lol

Barney could be co-captain for the rest of the season, what an inspirational story this year

PS As an introvert, is TMM 1 of those shy guys and sits back at meetings and work, even if he has the experience, talents and ideas? Looks like one. Especially when SJ is dominant and an icon in NZ? Webby needs to make sure he takes the talking ball off SJ and let TMM contribute and plan/execute ideas for the sake of the team balance and attacking threats going forward “Thank you Shaun, Te Maire what do you think?” 🤣

Massive for our season !!!
Last year we were up and down until the sharks wet weather comeback that was the catalyst for the season I said last week the win reminded me of that game and the result this week confirmed it. Webbys next level at giving people confidence and I feel like after a while it had a broken record effect or the novelty wore off for the older boys but the young fellas seem to be soaking it up. Hopefully seeing is believing and we have turnt the corner the cowgirls 3 days after origin will be a good match after a bye few of the older boys back let's get back to the top 4 shall we onwards and up the fucking wahs

The crowd a huge part of the victory. The warriors chant went up when the game was close with twenty minutes left and it looked like it demotivated the dolphins as they knew they had to fight against the crowd as well.
Well done crowd. When I went to my only Warriors game here in Wellington we definitely pulled our weight to get the boys across the line.

A minor point after Marata scored his great try I thought to myself I bet the ref will be on our side now and try to manage us to win as we look like the better team. Then two minutes later Jazz got stripped it was a tight call and he gave it to us. You make your own luck with the referees.

You mean those who believed without seeing has even greater rewards in Wahs praradise? 🤣

He called the strip on Dallin because we had no challenges and losing, then when we were winning he called Jazz a knock on to try to help the Dolphins

We have a better win record with him? I guess if we play Storm, Broncs the refs would just be ruthless against us, those challenges are so valuable for a team like us

First try came from a TMM bomb to the left with Montoya competing and winning the ball to offload to CHT who scores…. Who knew competing for the ball and variation in your 5th tackle option could pay such dividends aye????? Hoping that’s the end of SJ’s constant bomb to the right with no competing. That shit needed to stop

No I mean If u can't believe what coach says and the young boys coming through can and give u and 80min tape to watch the message may sink in then the cunts right. We don't have a best team we have 30 players and the ones picked on the day belong there and if they go out put in 100% effort for the guy next to them miracles will happen. We will win more than we lose and we can learn from the mistakes or defend them.

Jeez, I hanker for the old days when the True Warriors Fans, all 8000-odd of us, would be the only ones to turn up to witness a Mt Smart performance like that. Now bloody 23000 damn fill the ground out. And We. Still. Win.

First choice lineup?! We don' need no stinkin' first choice lineup! Limit any future team to 3 players with more than 30-40 games, I say. Who can we call on to make their debut against the Cowboys?

We have gun jumpers Monty, Dallin and heck even Berry has height to overhaul opponents, really need to use some bombs inside the 30m and compete

Some work to do to try to over take some teams now and work our way up the ladder (yes I know we have the bye coming)
