We played well and put in a good performance. But to be fair, the Titans were poor and played like spooners with consistent errors and giving away penalties and 6 agains that killed their momentum and handed us field position and good ball.

15 errors from the Titans and we enjoyed 54% possession. Quite a one sided game.

You can only play to the opposition and we put our performance together well. It was a relief to have an opposition not playing their best game of the season for once with exceptional error free games and 90+% completion rates!

As good as the young guys are we need to keep this all in mind. It’s a good result for a young team but we need to keep repeating this the next 2 weeks building into the finals.

JFH was an improvement, really not sure what's happening with Leka at the moment - at mt smart last week he looked really down, sitting on the ground on the sidelines for most of the match, Chanel was great last night, Boyd's best game, RTS is just consistently superb.

We don't need Taine at the moment - CNK had a great game, Pompey and Berry solidified the centre pairings, Dallin ran it up all night, EC as always consistently strong, EIT had a great showing and I still can't get the TSS is the new jazz out of my head after reading someone else's comment.

We did what we had to. I doubt any other side in the top 8 will fear us right now.

HOWEVER, THAT WAS A FUCKING SHOULDER CHARGE, AND JFH GOT A SHOULDER DIRECTLY TO THE HEAD LATE IN THE GAME!!!

HOWEVER, THAT WAS A FUCKING SHOULDER CHARGE, AND JFH GOT A SHOULDER DIRECTLY TO THE HEAD LATE IN THE GAME!!!

It really wasn't.

He lead with his shoulder but had a raised arm which is the bare minimum requirement.

A shoulder charge has a tucked arm.

It was however a blatant 3rd man in flop by Tino on that tackle and should have been a penalty.

Was really impressed with Tanah Boyd, one criticism would be pushing a couple of last tackle chips too far causing 7 tackle sets, one that shouldn’t have been but will be costly again top teams. His goal kicking and on field kicking is solid though. Nice to see him taking some runs in the last couple of weeks. Really have thought TMM’s defence has become really physical since taking on the utility role
I'm not sold on martin, I think healey could have made a decent impact last night, its only the fear of losing a half or FB is why martin is picked.

Amazing how some people hear things so differently and seem to think everyone has it out for them. I can't remember once a game called by Vossy which he has been biased in any way for any team. If anything he has been a great proponent for the Warriors over the years. The fact someone can listen to that and think he wants the other team to win says more about the person that thinks that.

If you take offense to a commentator calling out something as shit when a team is playing shit or makes bad plays - harden up - it happens to every team and I'd rather have honesty than someone blowing smoke up my ass.
Good call

If u see any Vossy interview the moment the Warriors are mentioned its clear he gets the warm fuzzys and there's a connection built over that time he was commentating us.

Praising an opposition play or calling out when we do something stupid isnt death riding us FFS

......now Brandy on the other hand ;)

they did what they needed to do considering it was their bogey team. I thought the ref was really good. Hated seeing Boyd milk that penalty. The milking by all teams is getting out of hand.
I thought it was brilliant, he was instinctively reacting to the ref's earlier call on Capes, who btw got to JC before he kicked and managed the contact in a textbook fashion as per the NRL's directive..

Ref started to change his tune around then too..

If we were under any illusion the yardage game of our back 3 isnt critical to the way we play, that game shouldve dispelled it.

Rog, Dal and Charnze racked up 546 metres between them! Close to a thrid of all our metres run.
Not just the metres but they usually win the contact as well getting good ruckspeed for the next hit up. Multiple hit ups in the same set means our middles dont have to work as hard and can conserve energy for defence and especially line speed which is huge to our grinding game of limiting opposition yards.

However it does also highlight imo how our biggest strength can also be our downfall.

Couldnt be a clearer blueprint for oppositions on how to shut us down - stop our back 3!

Cant believe Titans didnt get the memo in this. Its what oppositions have been doing the last 6 weeks or so. Titans line speed on those early tackles were literally non existent.....failing to move up allowed Rog n co to get us back over halfway within 3 runs most of the time......allowed us time and again to execute our territory game that Webby loves.

Its why while happy with the performance im not getting too carried away, 100 percent any top 8 team we play wont afford us the same luxury.

RTS seemed happy to have him back when he said after the game that he reckons their left edge is the best in the comp in his opinion
In the interview did he say "left edge" or "right edge"? I know he plays left edge but did he say right edge? It caught my ear last night.

Broken clock twice each day is correct. I wonder if I can print this post out? LOL.

Question for you - based on what you saw last night can we beat the resurgent Eels next week with Moses in career best form?
I need to rewatch the Warriors v Titans game more closely, only saw bits of the first half, however based on what I saw, the Titans played well below the Eels level. Warriors looked much better…. I think we can beat them but not sure I’d have us favourites.

A lifeline? Come off it. He is a top tier commentator
Used to think the same until he started to show disdain toward my precious Warriors.

Warriors > Andrew Voss

(And no I won’t “come off it” thank you)

Edit - and if we want to go there, Vossy got demoted at Chanel 9, had beef with Ray Hadley (that doesn’t say much I know), then Sky NZ hired him. Through that he got the Fox gig, which he has held ever since. Sounds like a lifeline to me - and I’m not saying he’s a bad commentator BUT he had our back when he was here, one of the only Aussie commentators who actually seemed to know about our club or even care to be factual about us. Since he went back to Fox, I noticed after the years he stopped showing that love towards us. I don’t respect people who change like that.
My opinion of course mate.
