Warriors social media shouldn't be putting together hype reels for signing junior players from other clubs.

Puts unfair pressure on the kid. From what I saw from Capper prior to joining us, he was never a better center prospect than Nganatatafu Vake or Sio Kali.

But the the hype created from that made some people on this forum think he was a smokey to claim a first grade spot at some point this year.

From what I'm hearing about him here, I would not thi know he's a shot at all of making first grade.

That's a fairly extreme assessment, can you elaborate?

I worked with youth team in NZ for a long time and met young fullas with bucket loads of talent, skill and ability. That got sidetracked by needing to belt every opposing player whether it was warranted or not. Now all I'm saying is that what I see on him is potential to succeed or fail. I think he has both in him like most of us but in the context of what he can achieve. It's quite high

Jack Thompson has been allowed to stay in Australia this year so it’s hard to get picked when doesn’t really get much practise time with the squad. Rico Lemalie looks like the next half to get a shot.
