General Warriors SG Ball 2025

Kahu might be a lemon…
I get the feeling it is mental for him - he has all the physical attributes, just needs to apply himself to the grind.

His gameplay actually reminds me a lot of Roger at centre last year - needs to drop the pre-line steps every run and try to power through the line.

Down by 8 with a penalty out in front, you'd have thought the 2 might be an option. But the boys back themselves and Bowden scores his second in the right corner.

A bit of showboating before putting the ball down was disappointing... celebrate after you score the try young buck (especially after having had a few handling errors last week).

Pretty special solo try from the Dogs' fullback. Busts a few tackles and then re-collects a grubber for himself. Looks like he'll be a good player too (speed kills...).

Should be 22-30 with the kick just to the right of the posts.

That's probably close to the ball game. The Dogs go in to the right of the posts again with the middles not pushing up and leaving a hole for the Dogs to slide straight through.

Dogs now up 22-36 with less than 10 to go.

Was at the game and one thing that was noticeable was the drop in comms once they Bulldogs started putting on points. The "3 in", the "kick pressure", and the "a's tighter" were way less frequent in the 2nd half.

I reckon he just needs to flush out his young dumb immature stuff and that takes time and experience which includes the lows as well as the highs and hype. See how he grows into himself

This has been three weeks of talking about the attitudes of this class of 2025. I really hope they pull it together, seems like a stupid move to name Capper captain.
You may be right. Time will tell. I get the feeling he could become a Reece Walsh type star or end up in jail for a long time or dead at a young age. Here's hoping he kicks on here

Feel like this team has ability, just can't do the boring stuff and stay in the grind for long enough.

Their last two tries were pretty slick ball playing for Ball level but you gotta defend to win games.

Bulldogs little fullback was pretty dangerous all game.

Warriors social media shouldn't be putting together hype reels for signing junior players from other clubs.

Puts unfair pressure on the kid. From what I saw from Capper prior to joining us, he was never a better center prospect than Nganatatafu Vake or Sio Kali.

But the the hype created from that made some people on this forum think he was a smokey to claim a first grade spot at some point this year.
