Nene is a genuine strike weapon- he had some bad injuries though and just never looked fit (till the other night  )
I dont hate it tbh- it would have to be minimum wage stuff though to make the risk worth taking.
On his day he’s a beast.
Do we really need another outside back? We have heaps of center and fullback cover but wing still looks pretty thin. Couple of young ones coming through but not quite there- he could possibly bridge the gap.
Probably looking to return to oz anyway.
There wasnt that many days (on days) when he played for the Titans/
talent physique but inconsistent.

Whatever Tolu Koula’s on, offer him an extra 150 per season or so, Fullback or wing. Can’t get a start in a full strength manly side
How would he not make manly full strength side? Hes a lock for a centre berth alongside Garrick. Pretty sure he didnt miss any games this season besides when he did his MCL.

Also you will prob find that "extra 150%" hes on would prob make him the highest paid centre in the game. Remember Manly had to ward off ARU who offered around 8-900k p season for him. Prob on around half that.

Has he played any games at wing? Edit - seems only a few times at nsw cup when coming up in 2021 and also Tongan side. None in the NRL. Vast majority of his games have been at centre.

when manly was at full strength this year he couldn’t crack the starting side. It wasn’t until Saab got injured that he got a run at centre. He was being overlooked by Talau and Hopoate.

And a extra 150k a year to lure him over not 150%

Jayden Sullivan one of the players that tigers are letting go of and prepared to pay a portion of. Bad contract for tigers with him on $500k next year then $600k the following two seasons. You’d want them to be paying half to take a gamble but a player with a bit of nrl experience now

Sullivan on say, $350-400k would be a great pick up for us.

We're in need of a half to play 3rd or 4th string, he has a kicking game and a bit of experience, but still young enough where if he wanted to come over here and work hard he could easily make the starting team if he applied himself.

Gives us 2 years before Cleary and Hanson will be ready for fg. Low risk, high reward situation imo

Out of 8 appearances this season he’s offered an 88% tackle efficiency, 1 try and 7 try assists and a couple of line break assists. Couple of forced drop outs too. Tigers will be desperate to offload him with Luai coming in and a highly regarded Galvin that they won’t want to lose. Actually don’t think he’s a bad player at all

And in a team stuck to the bottom of the table. If he is cheap enough and wants to move to NZ would be a very handy depth player for us. Would benefit the cup side immensely too. They looked in desperate need of a half at the back end of the season

If you're a young half wanting to take control of a team in the NRL, surely the Wahs would be a great option?

A big forward pack that gets a roll on, and our halves at the moment look pretty shaky with only TMM, Metcalf and CHT there. No one has cemented theirselves yet, and all 3 have been injury prone so you know you're going to get a shot at some point in the year.

Webby's already shown he's willing to give players an opportunity if they impress with their training and work ethic - both Ford and Lussick evidence that. Could be a massive win for all three parties - us, Tigs and Sullivan

I think we’re a destination that players are seeing opportunities. Looking on the sharks Jayden Berrell thread, so many of their fans wanted to see Sam Healey kept over Berrell, seeing the potential. Many of them kept going back to the fact that Healey is stuck behind an 80 minute player in Brailey and Berrell as back up. As much as Healey says coming over was an opportunity to learn off a great hooker in Egan, I think he also sees some vulnerabilities in Egan that he could take advantage of

He sounds more like a fox than a shark then, lol

If true then CNK is centre and this Tigers guy is the winger first drop??

Unless we're still playing the dumb Roger at centre block Ali and Taine game
