I don't mind this direction but has anyone heard that they are trying to eliminate this type of tackle? It's the first I know about it. Are the clubs and players aware? If so, this would be a very dumb play by RTS and further evidence of him being off the pace and struggling to adapt
Every second statement from 'the Offical' in this report contradicts a prior one... the only thing sickening about this is the twisted reasoning to justify the binning, which was simply wrong. Was a decision worthy of the game we played. Upside down land.

It only takes one rotten apple to spoil the barrel. The stats on the night reveals a lot about who that apple might be.
Mate just wondering is this based on some inside info or just your own read based on performances?

This forum pretty much takes your word as testament and it seems to have set everyone off on demonizing player, x, y, and z lol. Care to elaborate on that player? Would probably stop some pretty wild tangents and rabbit holes quite a few appear to be going down.

No inside word within the club! Just making some uninformed presumptions based on what I’ve heard and seen.

25 pages hey. I hope everyone is going OK, certainly a hard pill to swallow.

No idea what has been said so far bug I hope people aren't calling out individuals after that. Unless you have another top 30 to call on? Haha.

At home sick so went back and watched the mini to analyze the tries.

1- ford late to slide, cnk shows no urgency leaving a 5 on 3. Sj takes fafita and kosi goes for the intercept- can’t really blame them.
2- middles don’t slide, Pompey isolated, misses a 1 on 1.
3- jazz late off the ground, ford then jazz fall off a regulation tackle.
4- jazz gives away silly penalty, off the back of it Marata is stepped and jazz falls off another one.
5- straight miss from Jazz and walker.

That’s 30-0 at halftime- game over already and every try can be chased back to the forwards imho..

Second half.
6- Chasing points Sj pass is intercepted- length of the field try.

Rts gets sin binned- poor call.

7- Pompey gets burnt.
8- titans target the edge where Rts should be defending- walker and cnk show no urgency to shut down the kick.
9- titans target that edge again- walker and kosi burnt.
10- afb doesn’t slide leaving a massive hole- cnk burnt for pace.
11- Rts jams, Sj follows, Pompey doesn’t.

Story of the game-
1st half- our pack showed zero urgency on defense- the titans had come to play and the game was over by half time.
2nd half was razzle dazzle and they had all the momentum- once we were a man down we just got blown away. Some of the players cleary gave up- walker and cnk being the most disappointing and they just piled on the points.
They must’ve felt like utter shit watching the video review- would’ve been a number of guys looking for a hole to crawl into.
Hopefully they come out this week with a point to prove- Barney and dwz are the perfect guys to be bringing back into the side- u know they’ll both play their hearts out.

Old arses must have alzheimer's !! CNK had one terrible game & he's suddenly under pressure to keep his spot in the team!!!??? Take your meds!!Yeah i have entertained the thought of moving charnze to accommodate Tuaupiki. Just for the sake of having some speed in our backline. That's it. Not because he's suddenly the reason we're shit.

That dude is a machine & gives his all every game. Just happened to have one of those off games at the same time as everyone else did lol.
Charnze will brush that off & bounce back big time. Too much mana & respect for his self and the club to play like that again.

I solute you for your sacrifice
Haha I actually feel a bit better about this week after watching it- because most of it is an easy fix- they just have to work harder 🤷‍♂️ .
There was also a few things that went against us- the high shot on Montoya should’ve been penalized and that was a double whammy because we also lost our challenge over it and in the first couple of minutes.
Fords try should’ve been awarded imo and rts did not deserve the bin and that cost us dearly as well.
Also it was just one of them days where the ball just kept bouncing their way (although I believe u make your own luck in a lot of those situations).
People are complaining about rolling out the same team but it’s not really.
Moving walker back to the middle is a double whammy because he was both horrific on the edge and at the same time his speed around the ruck was sorely missed.
Dwz also adds pace and energy- 2 things we desperately need.
Cht in the halves should stiffen up the defence.
Barney will add some steel and tighten up the ruck and hopefully capewah will help with communication and scramble.
Unfortunately an improved effort isn’t gonna cut it this week- we need the 2 points.
The broncos speed worries me for sure but if we can play as a “team” I give us half a chance.

Agree with this. Its not quite the team I wanted this week but it's a far better balanced side than what we rolled out against the Titans.

I wonder if AW thinks he got the selections right and it was the players that let him down or does he accept that he cocked up a few things himself..

I knew Jazz had a shocker!! Some on here are defending his performance - strange!
