Everyone needs to settle down

I feel this forum is turning on Metcalf which is unfair
He doesn`t seem to be willing to wait his turn. When players get injured, it is always dangerous. Tanah and CHT have stepped up and are winning games. Metcalf, while he played well before the injury, would have to wait his turn. If he waited and played cup, there will probably be an injury sometime in the season.

I agree that he put pressure on the decision and it backfired when he got the answer he didn't want. The risk you run

With all the cloak and dagger talk, I bet it's more simple than that.

Tanah fits Webby's attacking system better.

We don't need individual 'brilliance' at 7, we a guy (next to CHT) who stitches the existing brilliance together (Clarke, Leka, AKP, Demi...etc)

💯

He was leading the Dally M ratings and people here were talking about upgrading his contract.
Then he tore his ACL and his career turned to shit.

I’m glad he’s going, we’re better with Tanah, but give Mets a break.
Woops maybe that was the wrong choice of words ….

Stressful times for Webster, George and co.

You are flying high, doing everything right and this happens.

I think with all the talented young halves at the Warriors who will have ambitions and dreams of their own, Metcalf may have in a round about way done them a favor.

The lesson that no one is bigger than the game, and that at the Warriors form picks players over Stardom is not something the club has been able to show in the past.

Some players always come back post injury regardless of who filled in. I am not firm on this but I feel like Metcalf had enough reason to believe that would be the case for him.

Agree but imo we NEED an X factor fullback if our halves are CHT and Tannah. And no Taine is not who I mean....

For sure. Webby gave him two games and they are the only games that the Wahs have lost this year. It is hard to justify bringing him back when his replacement is doing really well.

Not in his position, not that it would have mattered as he wasn't ready. Don't start alluding that we lost because of him though. Results are team based not individual
