Despite this glorious victory I still think we need to work the phones to get rental mid for the rest of the season. We are thin on depth after Barnett's injury. Even though we won last night if Clark or even Vaimauga goes down we are in strife.

I have something a bit random about the team success to say.
The Warriors stock piled 4 NRL ready halves for the 2025 season and watched pre=season to see who would rise to the top.
Metcalf and CHT proved to the coaches they were the two men for the job ahead of worthy competition in TMM and Tannah.

Good strategy in hindsight to solve who would be our halves in the post SJ era.

People are losing their minds over this win. It just hits different this year.
Makes for a change though James. At least we are losing our minds in a positive way. I am sure you saw the pitchforks come out a few times last year where we took vengeance on the team for betraying our hope in them.

I was thinking we have a chance to win it this year don’t contend with getting to round 2-3 of playoffs cuz you don’t get on a roll every year ie 2023-2024, but now I see a lot of posters are believing in trying to win it now which is great

I always shared Webbys dislike for ‘rebuild years’. You should always aim for the premiership and never make excuses. But I never really believed we had the cattle.

Boy howdy, was I wrong.

We were down a captain and arguably the best hooker in the game (at the moment). Not a problem.

Not a god damned problem, at all.

This year is hitting different, man.

Qebby is pulling the right levers in selection. Following that the team is buying in and srem a happy, talented group with a good mix of youth and experience however Webby is staying grounded. This squad is developing week by week. Egan misses game and gets 3 weeks to freshen up. Jealy played really well but TMM has better injury utility cover so will stay at 14 rocco omes back abd Capewah goes 2nd row sending TSS or Laban out whatever, someone will miss out because there is no roon rather than form
