Not all doom and gloom. Maybe just part gloom.

5th but sliding with a massive test ahead of us in which we are underdogs.

Metty and Barney still no good but if we can get them back on the field and for the back end of the season that could be an optimal return.

Charnze looks cooked for a good part of every season. Give him a week off. Like a one week sabbatical. 🤣🤣🤣

I reckon we're ok but not great. And I enjoy the pressure we will have to face to overcome melbin in melbin. Eat it up team.

From the perspective of the start of the year we're all good really, we were saying a 50/50 run to round 7 or 8 before Metcalfe came back would be ok - so we're actually in a better position now - knowing that bringing him back in in a certain manner may not work, and that a bit more strategising and management needs to be done on what's in front of us ... quitely confident we actually get in done in melbourne btw, it's how we roll

That's the result of the independent doctor.

The doc examines the hit, he has no interest in any rulings from officals.

It's not an issue for dudes that don't stay down. Healey stayed down wanting a penalty, didn't get it.
The doctors are clearly looking at more than just if a player stays down. If every time you stayed down you got marched for an HIA then DWZ would spend half his career on the sideline.
I understand that they are and need to be independent of each other. But how does a doctor look at the force and be worried about a concussion, while a ref looks at it and thinks their is only incidental contact.

In Healey's case it was forceful contact to the head
