TeamList Preseason 2025 Trial 1 - Warriors vs Sharks

Makes a big difference.
His left foot step on the right wing will allow him to beat players by stepping towards the sideline.
On the left wing he will be stepping back in field and potentially engaging with the cover defenders drifting wide.
He's not that kid anymore. Think about your typical double lead-run play, The players are running to the corner post. he can't step off his left foot running in an arc right, but you can running left. (I hope that makes sense, you can go outside and try this) I've played both sides plenty and I can tell you my only preference was what ever shoulder wasn't fucked 😂

Did Montoya have a left or right foot step? Doesn't really matter because RTS is an upgrade on him and we aren't switching DWZ from the right

One other thing form me. I would have loved Ali to start on the left so he was paired with RTS. It would worry me defensively which is why Pompey is likely there. When on attack though it gives us a left edge that would trouble teams.
Good post. I have been thinking about it. Pompey usually, at least in my memory, plays left centre. Maybe out of seniority they gave Pompey his preference and the younger bloke had to shift sides.
