I won't wind the clock back to mid last year where we won a few with TMM at 7. All I will say again, is I think he was massively over hyped during that period. But yes all of our halves need to lift a lot to get us just close to SJ's creativity level.

Not expecting any SJ levels from any of these halves, that's just a recipe for disaster, but we got by with guys like Grant Rovelli and Micheal Witt as long as the gameplan is simple enough.

Yes it will be good seeing the first graders out there especially the new guys or to see how guys go in new positions.

I'm also keen to see how a few of the younger guys go off the bench. Guys like Cleary, Hanson, Healy, Stowers-Smith, Ieremia-Toeava.

Trials are weird beast. Your keen to watch and see how they play. It can then get pretty messy as guys get thrown out there.

I'm mainly keen to finally be able to sit down and watch some footy it's been a long off season.

Why have we picked our A team in round one of pre-season. Normally depth goes round one and your A listers go in the second game? And what have sharks rolled out? Their bench guys or top guns. I will go and see.

Looks like a handful will be picked for all stars which is the same weekend as trial #2. This is the only opportunity to play in game together before round 1.

Sharks team is on NRL.com they have rolled out 50 percent A listers and 50 % NSW cup

Looking at Healy will be a highlight. Will his service be Paul Roach like or Jazz Tevaga like. We know Healy has a running game. What else can he offer? And has Lussick improved this off season.

If my memory serves me right the best starts to the proper season, we have lost both our trials..

Often when we have won both our trials we have gone on to start the season 0 from 2-3 ? more ?

2009 was one I remember getting over optimistic about, three preseason wins, then 2 wins to start NRL.

Will get a chance to see Metcalf 7 and TMM 6 and vice versa and see Cleary and Hanson reunited
