There membership number was reported as being around 17,000+. Pretty sure that is more than we hit this season? That crowd though.... hectic.
The NPC final crowd was appallingly bad.Rugby Union must be looking at this and thinking ... what did we do wrong when soccer and rugby league are attracting 20,000 + crowds. The last Akld NPC game was played at a school, not a stadium.
They're looking at an eventual move to Western Springs refurbished to a boutique 7000 cap.The big crowds for the first two games are understandable given it is a new franchise team.
They will naturally drop off to something like the Phoenix average unless off course they go on a long winning streak.

The Phoenix got 7k to their season opener the year after being in the prelim. That is dire.Phoenix or worse
the Warriors….
The A league doesn't have the following of the NRL.The Phoenix got 7k to their season opener the year after being in the prelim. That is dire.
Warriors season openers are usually 17k or sold out no matter what.

A lot of sports jerseys are ugly. AFC jerseys look great
Pretty sweet time of year to go to live sport. I hate cricket, and don’t enjoy freezing my arse off during winter, so if soccer wasn’t so boring the A league season would work well for me
The product itself isn't the best watch thats for sure. The A league doesn't have the following of the NRL.
Auckland are well financed though and have some very good business and sporting brains as owners.
I hope they do well.
I think you are right. Speedway going to now and ACC in talks with someone to take over WS.They're looking at an eventual move to Western Springs refurbished to a boutique 7000 cap.
And taking any block buster games to the bigger stadium. So I think that's their thinking too.
Just had it on in the background but that Phoenix keeper will be absolutely gutted, literally handed Auckland the game in what looked destined to be a drawPretty low quality game I thought but AFC get the win. Top of the table for a third week
