I would jump on Weekes if I didn't already have two raiders players.

However my question is, how many cheap players should you be holding hoping they make some money.

When does Savage and Chan become a sell.

I have/had two raiders already so now have three. I also have three Broncos. I asked for advice in this thread a month ago and people said it is ok to have three from a team but no more. That said I am trying to manage to two players where possible. I have both halves for the Raiders this week with both Strange and Weekes lining up for me.

"When does Savage and Chan become a sell." Fizurg told me hold them until their Break even gets higher than what you expect them to score each week. Savage has a break even of 23 and a projection of 35. So he is a keep per Fizurg;s rule.
Isn't Chan just coming back into the side this week?

As for how many cheap players should you have - hopefully an experienced player will see your post to answer.

I jumped on Chevy Stewart who got 10 points instead of Iro and lost by 5 points.
However it is not an excuse because my opponent jumped on Laban who got like 5.
I don’t think Weekes will be a massive scorer because Strange will be calling the shots.
Just like Galvin does for the Wests Tigers despite having Sezer there.

Who else has Samuela Fainu.
He is starting now and it’s a great move by Benji to start him and move Bateman to 13.
Seyfarth is honest like Ford and Capewell but lacks flair.
Pole is a modern day Ellery Hanley style of player, not as quick but he has game.
Great bench option.

I'm gonna pick up Armstrong from the Knights and i hadn't heard of him until yesterday so that's an indication of how I play fantasy & how serious ppl sould take my advice

I was thinking of him too but a few Knights supporters said he is usually on the wing in reggies.
The regular FB in reserve grade is injured and he could/should take Armstrongs position in 2 weeks.

Do we know who that is? My guess is if it was someone who they would DEFFO bring in to first grade asap when fit, they likely would have had a first grader take that spot for a week or two.

If it's Armstrong's position to lose I think he'll get 3 or 4 weeks minimum to see how he gets on. I've bought him but tossing up if hes worth it at this stage.

Yeah, I have done the same. Made some minor trades, mostly for people that can bring in monies.

I don't think I will win this week either. =(

NRL Fantasy: What's new in 2023?

NRL Fantasy is open for business in 2023, with eager owners now able to check out player prices and positions for both the Classic and Draft games on the Fantasy website.

During these rounds only your starting 13 will score points in Classic (rather than the usual 17), taking away the at times impossible task of trying to squeeze together 17 green dots at a time when so many teams and Fantasy big guns are on the sidelines.
The rule change should also help reduce the need to trade out Origin stars during this period and ultimately help owners save vital trades for the run home. The usual auto-substitution rules will apply for all bench players, as will normal in-round substitution and trading.

Positions absolutely matter. You can ONLY field 13. If you have three edges that play, only TWO will be scored. Your bench doesn’t count this round.

I bought a keeper and a cheapie.
Got rid of two guys who I think have peaked with their money making and don’t score enough to be keepers.

So I had Sam Walker all the way until he was injured then I traded him. Now he puts this on dragons, 10 goals, 1 try, 3 try assist. Jeez. Probably going to get like 80-90 points

I saw this coming and traded away Terrell this week. He got limited minutes last week and he was named at 17 this week in the lineup. Usually but not always the bench is in a pecking order,. Number 14 gets the most minutes and number 17 a low amount. My observation anyway.
