Interesting to see John Key would be keen to see a trump win. Always thought it was weird how key stepped down right as trump was announced president in 2016 and at the height of his popularity. Ardern too stepped away later on as key did

Dunedin metro, but heres a hack they dont want you to know; both Chch and Invercargill ALSO have hospitals.
Invers has Kew hosp but doesn't have the specialists Dun does, which is also a teaching hospital so presumably benefits the local economy.

And if I know NZ, what they will do is build some wierd not fit for purpose hybrid for $2B and in 5 years Invercargill will need an upgrade and you'll end up spending $5B on less than 500k people

Stats NZ has released its 2023 Wellness Survey. The number of New Zealanders reporting satisfaction with their lives has fallen from 85% in 2018 to 76% last year. Seems to tie in with our lives experiences.
But Covid!!! Nope. In 2018, we were the eighth-happiest nation. Now we are ranked 11th. We were more satisfied with our lives than Australians - now the Aussies are happier than we are.
The survey makes a laughing stock of Ardern’s failed “world-leading wellness budgets”.
Glad we’ve got a government now thats back to basics, governing for the masses, is focused on the economic fundamentals, and is empowering people to control their own destiny.
