General Will we make the 8?

NZWarriors.com

New dream scenario:
Wahs W
rabbits with some Bennett voodoo and Lattrell kicks a 50m 2 point field goal on the siren.
sharks choke against a dogs side with nothing to play for
dolphins by 14 over the raiders who have rested most of their players

5-8 Warriors host Dolphins
6-7 Sharks host Panthers
Rorters 9th and no one is allowed to rest players anymore

I think Latrell's injured ...

My unscientific gauge of current power levels based on form and injuries

1. Raiders 90/100
2. Storm 75
3. Dogs 70
4. Broncos 75
5. Sharks 70
6. Wahs 65
7. Panthers 80
8. Roosters 85

Conclusion: we’re so back fucked
Nice analysis here is my version

1 Raiders 95
2 Broncos 90
3 Panthers 85
4 Roosters 80
5 Dogs 75
6 Sharks 70
7 Warriors 60
8 Storm 50

And then the dolphins win 😂 nah I want them to take as long as we did to make our first finals! Fuck the phins!!!

Damn any analysis. We will be the giantkillers of this final series. Under-rated by both friend and foe, this is exactly the position we need to be in. Didn't Manly beat The Storm at Aimee Park midway through the season? Let's be positive. The Panthers can look ahead while we have them in our sights. They say revenge is sweet and none sweeter than a victory against a team that has no conscience in terms of selection choice. Bring up the troops, Webby, it is our team, it is our time.

lol nice angle pretty similar to my guesses except I overpowered Panthers and Roosters!

As someone that dislikes the defence first way the game has gone, I’m happy the three exponents of grinding games are struggling (Panthers, Bulldogs and Us).

For the good of the game I hope a well rounded, attacking team wins it this year.

For the good of the game we need to highlight talent, x-factor and amazing plays rather than training those skills out of players.

If we can somehow beat the Panthers week 1 we will most likely be playing the Bulldogs week 2 which is the best possible outcome for us. I am not saying we will win but it is better than matching up with Melbourne, Canberra, or Brisbane. There is no way the Bulldogs will be beating the Storm week 1 even without Hughes.

Winning at home against Penrith will be tougher than Canterbury away based on how the teams are going. Winning those two in a row though would be a miracle but if we could, it would be great for our confidence moving into next season with more players back.

I thought Melbourne would easily take care of Canberra this year but without Hughes that is a spanner in the works.

I would rate the 8 teams in this order moving into the finals based on both current form and big match temperament. I can't help feeling Canberra are there for the taking though. Realistically, only Melbourne, Penrith or Brisbane can do it and a lot of other teams will be grateful if we knock Penrith out week 1.

1. Canberra
2. Melbourne
3. Brisbane
4. Penrith
5. Cronulla
6. Sydney City
7. Canterbury
8. NZ
