General 2024: Will we make the top eight?

The stolen 2 points against the Dogs, leading against the Storm until the final second and scoring more tries against the Raiders hurt the most. The fact we actually beat two top 4 teams makes it one of the strangest seasons in recent memory.

If we sure up our defense, we could easily crack it!

So, 31 would have got us sneaking in to the 8. 3 more wins. Let's be honest, we didn't deserve to be there but it would have been nice.

Actually we only needed to win our second games against Knights and Raiders, would've dropped them to 28 and us to 29 to sneak in

Yeah all the blowouts and multiple occurences of snatching defeat from the jaws of victory didn't help either, but after all the crap we've been through this year, that's how close it still ended up being.

It's been mentioned JFH is one of those "first to arrive, last to leave" type super-focussed trainers, hopefully his work ethic behind the scenes rubs off on some of the squad over the pre-season who may just be "turning up is good enough" types.

The young guns maight make a difference . This year looked like nobody gave a stuff & having a change of troops should help.
Oh Well, might have, should have doesn't matter so it's back to sweeping up the bloody camellia's & dreaming of Vegas.
