I’ve looked back at the first half of the season Warriors teams where we had good form compare to now where we are limping home:

Obviously we are missing Barnett and Metcalf. But also:

We played Niukore in the front row when fish or Barnett were out. Bunty and Leiataua were consistent players. DWZ was injured with Tuaupiki playing a lot.

To me we had a more solid front row, more attacking threats and the players and there positions, helped with less mistakes.

To me, Niukore to front row, Bunty to the bench, Leka to edge, Ford to bench, Tuaupiki on the wing and Healey at 17 to assist the attack. Young bench players - sorry, not the time for experience anymore.

This was proven successful Webster ball at the start of the season!

What about the Lets put Bunty in -I m the chair of that group
I agree with that faction so I didn't list it

For the last month I've been thinking TSS reminds me of Bunty. They just kind of go out there and do some work, nothing flash.
TSS was quite poor in the last game, and Bunty has been there on the extended bench every week.

Can anyone explain this Webster selection?
He seems to love backing the same experienced players no matter how much of a dud they are on the field... you know who I'm talking about.
So how come he won't swap in a seasoned player like Bunty for a rookie that's had plenty of exposure, but looks like he could do with a break?
My only guess is that he is a creature of habit, even when players are breaking down (same thing happened last season).

Very good analysis. I concur.

Simple, TSS is the future. He has a higher ceiling while pumping out, as you say, similar output to Bunty even after only a handful of NRL games.

At first I didn't rate TSS after several games, but as of late I've grown partial to his performances and of he keeps on the upward trajectory he'll make a solid NRL prop in our team. We don't need a superstar prop with all the talented youthful forwards we have establishing themselves..

1 T Tuaupiki
2 D W Zelezniak
3 C N Klokstad
4 A Pompey
5 R T Sheck
6 C H Tavita
7 T Boyd
8 J F Harris
9 W Egan
10 J Ford
11 K Capewell
12 L Halasima
13 E Clark

14 S Healey
15 M Niukore
16 D Vaimauga
17 T M Martin

CHT to cover Clark, Ford plays 80 😂

I agree with your team with the exception of TMM. Two forwards (excluding hooker) on the bench is not enough, especially if one or two of our middles get injured or HIA during the game (which has happened to a lot of teams this year). We would get gassed and rolled in the last 20 mins.

Laban in for TMM would be only change I would make to that team.

A clear choice has to be made between Healey and TMM. I think Healey offers much more to our attack.
