General Finals Week 1 Ticketing Process

Got my tickets. It is a shame that we are sitting in different seats than our usual season tickets

Thanks for the emails received which made booking tickets that much more easier

As you say members not being able to get their usual seats is a real bummer and a bone of contention for a lot of members

While we all understand that this is an NRL run event an explanatory email to members from Cameron, or the membership team, setting out why the ground capacity does not allow members to purchase their own seats would go some way to make members less disgruntled

I recall that on a previous occasion when we had a home playoff game members were able to purchase their own tickets (we came along to MSS when tickets went on sale with our membership cards to achieve that) & since that time the capacity has not reduced

Piggy backing off the back of another comment here, do members have an allocation and if you happen to have a mate that has unused allocation then you could try booking with their code?

Might hit up a couple mates who have season tickets but dont want to bother them if its not an easy thing to hijack

General consensus on sharing the Non-ticketed members code on here? I imagine it will be all over social media by 7-8pm at the latest
There is an unconfirmed code that has popped up already

They did mention it was one transaction per code - but that doesn't seem to be policed, but the limit seems to be adhered to (first transaction of 5 allows a second transaction of 3) The danger might be TM seeing codes used twice and cancelling both but that's probably unlikely as its a failure of their system.

i know blues (super rugby) does the same where you cant get your same seats.

Auckland FC initially said that too, but then they offered members first dibs for their seats then did the whole code sales etc. they could have also stated the seating restrictions but went against it

"The Finals Series is operated by the NRL, so unfortunately, we are unable to offer members same seats. I understand this is not great, and we do receive a lot of complaints, but please keep in mind that we would if we could."

It's definitely to allow capacity for NRL commercial partners an allocation and decent seats.

You obviously didn't get all the emails then as Jesse in an earlier email commented on not being able to get your own seat and that was a cause of complaints & that it was due to capacity

The explanation needs to be why some clubs have same seat and others don't
