This is the type of high IQ discussion that keeps me coming back.
It's gotta stop man! We've played six matches this year after losing Johnson, Tohu, AFB, Dylan Walker, and we have a bunch of crucial injuries, and somehow, SOMEHOW, we're 4&2. There are way more teams than elite halves. We HAVE to try and build and develop our own halves pairing. So many people would have us switching our halves pairing every other week. It's just a terrible, terrible idea. We have to back this pairing for this year (barring a truly catastrophic run). If I see hair brained "tuaupiki to six, boyd to seven", posts I'm giving them the one word treatment.

A good win based on effort and bloody mondeness.
Those criticising Kosi his stats and efforts are first class. What alternatives do we have. The man has stood up for his team. You need the Kosis of the eorld to stand up when required.
Metcalf another effort player. A few misses it happens came good in the end.
CHT, it is so important to have a strong defensive Half. Probably the best defender there since Andrew Johns.
Everybody contributed and out efforted Broncos
Agree mate, get behind our players, they all did a great job to get the win

We’re winning but doing it the very hard way. Wins are wins but it could be so much easier.

It's kinda Raideresque.

Which is not ideal.

But.

We did get to see some of the tinniest trys we've seen in a while (TT's audition for AFC) and a 50 metre kick to end golden point, which is very Warrioresque.

But I agree, we were camped in their 20 for a chunk of the game last night and walked away with nothing.

Tough win from the boys, it's basically the same game plan that has been getting us over the line in all our wins to date... All effort... Shout out to Ford, Clark, Barney setting the platform, doing the hard yards with special plays thrown in the mix from our young guys... Our halves not setting the world on fire but still getting us wins is all you can ask, so much growth and upside for the future... could get all nitpicky with certain players at certain times with errors etc, but it was a team effort in the end, which is what you want when up against more vaunted side... So happy where we sit and especially after last week, I also love how we sit under the radar, we are the underdog but we just quietly get the win, while the other team lost the game according to media and pundits... Can't wait to next week in a new stadium with a big crowd 😃 let's go 😎

We’ve have the most tackles in the opposition 20 across the season (40+ per game) but are 12th for attack points.

We are literally not converting possession into points. The third place team on -18 pd is insane!

Cowboys finished top 4 in 2007 with -71

It can be done!

I don't think anyone is going to argue that out attack has been going good, as it's clear to see it's clunky AF.
Same problem we've had for years - close wins and heavy losses result in a terrible for and against.

The good thing however, is 5 of the 6 teams we've played have been top 8 so in theory, a few games against some of the less well polished teams should see us improve our attack somewhat.

Plenty of troops due back in the next 4 weeks or so too, which should help our attack moving forward

That's crazy to me that the Mongers aren't in the top 8.

People forget something about our beloved halfback. He's played 32 games of first grade footy.

32.

We are top three, with a 32 game halfback. Give it time.
