If it happens under Webster it will be in the 2020s

Which it will

So if we can keep you eating your porridge every morning until 2029 your eyes will live to see the promised land.
Fuck the porridge .Bacon and eggs for me.

I am impressed with all us fans for seeing the big picture and writing this season off as a learning experience and investment in Webster. If Webster was like Nathan Brown and had ten years experience behind him then we would not be being so patient. But this is perfectly obvious - he is a highly talented and gifted coach but he is new and learning on the job.
He is going to get us a premiership mark my words.
These are the type of posts we need more of. Instead of squabbling over every little thing that’s wrong atm, taking a step back and looking at it from a wider perspective.

Well in that spirit in any normal universe we would probably have 4 extra points right now and be in the playoff hunt and had much more confidence going into last night - eg the Dogs no penalty call and yet the player got suspended for three weeks.

Yeah that's true but in the form we are in it wouldn't matter. We are really in a hole. Probably the worst performing team we have had for the quality of players on paper.
Although i am seeing that through rose tinted glasses and they are all just past it.

This is the sort of positive posts we need here!
Imagine if it was flipped around and this season was last season we wouldn't want anything of Webster be calling for his head.
But last year everything just clicked we won more and didn't lose as many games The Broncos have fallen off a cliff too especially against those niggly Titans. We have to let Webby build the pathways and his own team.

The on field bickering is a real concern.

Has happened a lot this year and usually points to disharmony in the group etc. Lots of debate this year about what might be causing it.

It's a real issue though. If the environment is negative then the crappy results will rinse and repeat
Who is doing the bickering?

2012 Warriors were the same except in 2011 they went further than our 2023 side.

Multiple reports from people at the game about players at eachother.

Not the first time this year it's been mentioned
Just had a quick read back through the thread.

RTS and SJ?

AFB? Barney?

Has AW lost the senior players?

Why am I not surprised that we managed to lose to a team paying $4+ to win?
SJ should have come back this weekend via NSW Cup with Metcalfe.
I don't want to be hard on the guy, but the stats are getting out of hand.
  • 8 game losing streak - hasn't won since early April (Round 5)
  • points difference from his last 7 games is -131 (bottom 4 material)
  • only two really decent teams in this list (Sydney and Melbourne)

I guess my argument or not an argument as that sounds confrontational. My point is that had we won the dogs match and raiders matches we would have had more self belief and confidence and more momentum going into the Eels match and we would have smoked them. A lot of how you play on the night is based on how your whole season is going. And to a lesser extent how your last few seasons have gone.
