I thought it may have been because they didn't want to distract players from their games this round and also wanted to contact them before the announcement. So with our game being last up they put up the 19 who would already have played and been notified rather than finding out by media. Just my take on it.They never miss an opportunity to discredit us... Or is that my cynicism showing
Not trying to disagree for the sake of it. But I have found most players back up incredibly well. I wouldn't go as far as it is good for the Cowboys but I don't consider it a disadvantage for them either. The possibility of injury or niggle is more likelyStill unlikely to be at their best -couldn't have happened at a better time for us (particularly after our bye)

Surely you can't think of replacing him after yesterday's superlative performance (which earned him maximum MOM points)
I thought TMM had a really average kicking game but was everywhere on D. Chanel outplayed him in the halves yesterday. Lussicks service was as crap as ever so you could lay part blame on that.
A lot of people questioning our top grade players coming back which is insane. An SJ in a team without confidence vs a confident ( and fully fit) team is wildly different. We had several guys playing injured which really slowed us up, a lot of drop ball and penalties. The last 2 weeks has shown fitness which improves our discipline and gives us a good share of the ball.
For me there everyone returning after the bye gets their spot back. Only real shift I would make would be Tohu to only play 13 for 20 minutes.
Love that username btw!Credit to Webby - for having the balls to drop AFB during an injury crisis.
Walkers must be our 13.
The Aussie commentators were positive that we scored that try right on half time.
Duct tape Warriors better than full strength Warriors.
F**kng love this
Say SJ is back fully fit and plays 7. Who would you go with at 6 out of TMM and CHT?The SJ was debate is an important one
SJ is purely a passing half, throwing dummies at decoy runners and once in a blue moon running
TMM and CHT are not afraid to run. CNK at 6 is a run first player. This makes a HUGE difference to your attacking options and puts their defence on high alert.
I wouldn’t be opposed to continuing TMM at 7 and CHT 6 for the next few rounds if SJ wants more time. Something special could develop here
They'll both be in the team. CHT off the bench, covers the back line. TMM deserves his chance @ 6. You can run more plays for TMM at first receiver with teams keying in on SJ. Exciting to think about how we will look after the bye.Say SJ is back fully fit and plays 7. Who would you go with at 6 out of TMM and CHT?
The Cows also can't afford to rest anyone given their season so farI think unless there is a niggle players almost always back up, even 48 hours. Especially now teams have 3 byes a year...

And pompey!Hmmm that’s a tough one but CHT as Walkers successor in #14 jersey works for now because he’s so versatile
CNK as a straight running #6 capable of a double pump dummy showed us what can happen with TMM at 7… it was an unlocked potential in my mind ..
The thing with RTS is that step can also be a hinderance when you need someone just running straight and hitting a hole without any of that fancy stuff. That’s what I like about CNK
You mean like when he’s running it back at FB?… except now on the Wing? Sure that works for meAnd pompey!
I'm telling you guys! RTS is better suited on the wing for Montoya, he will be huge running the ball back for us!
Monty had his best game for a long time yesterday. And pompey!

CNK is the fullback bro!You mean like when he’s running it back at FB?… except now on the Wing? Sure that works for me
He did! And he's a fine back up!Monty had his best game for a long time yesterday.
Montys a hard bugger. And had a good game. Two tries scored on his wing because he is to slow tho. Would prefer Rts as his hit ups are as good if not better. Defensively Rts will have to adapt to defending in a different position and will get caught out like he has at center, while he re-learns his position. Roger is a hearty defender his reads are just bad in a position(center) he has never played. Has played wing & will need time to adjust. And pompey!

Does everyone think Kali is a centre? I want so see him on the wing!Montys a hard bugger. And had a good game. Two tries scored on his wing because he is to slow tho. We have to many good centers coming through and f all wingers. Berry, Leiataua, Pompey , Graham-Taufa & Sio Kali. Even charnze is better at center than Roger cos he has better ball distribution skills than Rog.
