Walker is a gun at playing Tohu’s position for 25-minute spells, semantics lol 🤷‍♂️

And ya I don’t get why we need Tofu for 20 minute a game off the bench when we have Ale and Afoa, seems more politics than actual gameplay, trying to wean him off till the season’s end and retire. And Ford’s Webby’s pet project not sure if he has the heart to put him to Cup as depth, Capewah’s still an Origin player and should be that workhorse 11 over Ford if you want to maximize his salary

Heck just typing that makes me feel there are a lot of politics going on BTS, no wonder it’s a roller coaster this year

Father time and injuries don't explain the daft way he is playing.
TMM and CHT are not doing nothing special. They are just running shapes and putting one foot in front of another.
SJ is trying selfish hero bar plays where he tries to set up the try all by himself instead of using team work and getting the whole team involved like TMM and CHT do. When TMM and CHT run the cutter we attack the try line as a 13 man unit. When Shaun runs the cutter we attack the try line either with one out hit ups by forwards or Shaun doing a solo effort then him attempting to put a runner through a hole for a try. It is all about him.
What does that have to do with age? What does that have to injuries? It has nothing to do with any of those things.
Shaun is 33 while DCE is 35
Shaun is not too old to be a half.
He just seems to have completely lost the plot of how to be half in the NRL.
One final point is that he stands quite shallow at first receiver and the rush defence often shuts him down.
Both TMM and CHT stand very deep and have time to operate.
What does standing deep or shallow have to do with age or injuries. They have nothing to do with it.
Dce is very durable- hardly missed a game- Sj has had probably the two worst injuries a running half could have- his leg snapped in half and a torn Achilles- they’re both injuries that have ended players careers.
It’s a testament to him that he’s managed to stay on top this long really- very few have.

Could be his robotic plays have been worked out this year and he can’t crash play and burn like CNK and CHT at 6, achilles tendinopathy will probably stay with middle age athletes like him for the rest of his life. He can contribute with his knowledge, experience and PR with media for this season, back up to TMM if injuries happen

Sifakula played 13 in cup a fair bit last year.
Ale was 13 yesterday in nsw cup. Think it was lock where many who followed him in his career thought he would end up? Not sure why he isn’t being utilised more though in first grade? Had good numbers yesterday in his 42 minutes, though a sin bin too. 146 metres in 14 carries and 16 tackles with no misses

Why is it so hard for a forward to pass a rugby ball????

Hospital passes, pass behind runner, passing to decoy when they have 4:1 outside lol, it’s way more pivotal than propping, AFB had a go last year and he was meh, CHT was a disaster there, maybe they will be awesome like against Panthers and Dolphins, I am just asking, don’t watch much Cup

More simple propping, unless Webby thinks he is ready to lock, he needs to be in the team the way he was playing
He can ball play but like many throughout the different coaches along the way, some of their strengths got shelved. Probably the most affected player in his timing coming through and covids effects on the club. Can’t recall what game recently but was really impressed with his physicality off the bench. More so impressed with the energy Maiu’u brought in his debut and think he’s a popular figure in the club

You guys calling him Tofu have no respect for what he's done over many years in both a Kiwis and Warriors jersey. Come on, we surely don't need to resort to insulting the guy, he's been a great servant.
Was on here to say this exact thing. Sure maybe he needs to wind down or retire but he has been great for so many years, such an asset to NZ league. Dude deserves some respect. As does SJ.

It's hard to know when to go out on a high in any aspect of life, sometimes we are the last to realise it's time to pass the baton on.

Mate, I’m sure he can handle being called a vegetable. There’s a lot worse out there.

A bit random, but it just reminded me of the slap in the face Tohu got in 2013 when he was dumped out of the Kiwis World Cup squad last minute for a 'bigger than the game' SBW

Tohu's parents had booked tickets to the UK to watch him play, and were left hanging.

"I'm really sorry about the Tohu situation it was never my intention I just followed my heart, now i promise ill play with all of it. #Kiwis"

— Sonny Bill Williams (@SonnyBWilliams) October 9, 2013

Nek minute SBW leads a bunch of the team to get on the drugs the night before the final, and shames the commitment he made, so the story goes.

Harris last played for the Kiwis in 2016 and retired prematurely, always wondered about that.

Plus the ignomy of being called Toe-who every week.

The man deserves a medal. I reckon John Wick is boiling away on the inside and in his mind he has photographed every person that has wronged him over the years. They'll be getting theirs post-career :ROFLMAO:

As opposed to nice nicknames like Princess? But you are right. I would much rather honor players that dont know when to step down, than win games.
